Unit 4: Camre Mein Band Apahij

A satirical take on the world behind the lens of a camera, Raghuvir Sahay urges students to feel the pain that others feel, and not gain profit from it, in his poem Camre Mein Band Apahij, an essential chapter in the class 12 Aroh book.

With new emerging technologies, television and media studios are increasingly focusing on the pains and hardships of people, almost turning them into a profitable venture, that is far removed from empathy or compassion. The poet urges students to stop and think about the pitfalls of documenting pain and profiting from it.

Unit 5: Saharsh Swikara Hai

Gajanan Madhav “Mukti Bodh” pens a poignant ode to love and acceptance in his poem, Saharsh Sweekara Hai, the fifth unit in the NCERT book class 12 Hindi Aroh PDF.

Unit 9: Rubaiyya and Gazal
