What Are The Chapters Included in The NCERT Class 6 Maths Textbook?

There are a total of 14 Chapters in the NCERT 6th Class Maths book. It includes lessons on Arithmetic, Algebra, as well as Geometry. Chapter 3: Playing With Numbers

The 3rd Chapter in NCERT Maths Class 6 PDF teaches arranging and understanding Numbers in a playful manner. Students get to know about factors and multiples. A detailed explanation of prime and composite Numbers follows next.

This Chapter depicts different tests associated with the divisibility of Numbers. Common factors and multiples have also been briefed in the 3rd Chapter. • Right angle

• Straight angle

• Obtuse angle

• Acute angle

• Reflex angle

Students are taught how to measure angles with a protractor. They also learn to measure the angle formed by the two hands of a clock. This Chapter also includes discussions on perpendicular lines and types of a triangle (isosceles, equilateral, scalene, acute-angled, right-angled, obtuse-angled, etc.). Quadrilaterals have also been discussed in detail in this Chapter. Towards the end, there is a mention of shapes like Sphere, Cone, Cylinder, Cuboid, Cube, Pyramid, and so on.

Chapter 6: Integers

Chapter 6 in Class 6 Maths NCERT book PDF unveils every detail about Integers. It teaches how we get positive and negative Integers on moving right and left on the Integer line. Representation of Integers on a Number line is also taught in this lesson. Chapter 10: Mensuration

The 10th lesson in Maths NCERT Class 6 PDF is about measuring dimensions of various figures. The Chapter begins with the concept of perimeter along with its definition and explanation.
