4. The third and final unit of Part A is accounting for companies involving complex operations involving shares and debentures. This unit has been allotted 25 teaching periods and carries 20 marks. 

Part B in The Examination Has Two Options

1. The first option is Financial Statement Analysis, which involves the accounting principles and practices for the finance department of businesses. This option has two units. The first unit is Analysis of Financial Statements, which comprises tools and procedures to analyze the financial prospects. These tools are widely used by banks and are very useful for commerce students. This unit has an allocation of 30 teaching periods and carries 12 marks. The next unit is the Cash Flow Statement, which explains the bookkeeping procedure for cash transactions. This unit involves 20 teaching periods and has eight marks. 

2. The second option for Part B is Computerised Accounting. This option lets students learn computer-based accounting systems and their operations.
