1. प्रियतमा के दुख के क्या कारण हैं ?

उत्तर - प्रियतमा के दुःख के कारण इस प्रकार हैं:

प्रियतमा का प्रियतम परदेश चला गया है। वह प्रियतम का सान्निध्य पाने के लिए उत्सुक है लेकिन उसकी अनुपस्थिति उसे आहत कर रही है, और उसे अंदर ही अंदर दर्द दे रही है।
सावन का महीना शुरू हो चुका है, जिसके कारण उसका अकेले रहना संभव नहीं है,वह प्रियतम की याद में डूबी हुई है। नए वर्ष का आगमन उसे गहरा दुख देता है।
घर का अकेलापन उसे काटने को दौड़ता है।
उसे लगता है की उसका प्रियतम प्रदेश जाकर उसे भूल गया है, यह बात अंदर ही अंदर उसे बहुत दुःख देती है।

2. कवि 'नयन न तिरपित भेल' के माध्यम से विरहनी नायिका की किस मनोदशा को व्यक्त करना चाहता है?

उत्तर: कवि इन पंक्तियों में नायिका के उस मनोदश का वर्णन करते है, जिनमे नायिका सब कुछ छोड़ कर सिर्फ अपने प्रियतम को निहारते रहना चाहती है। वह अपने प्रियतम के रूप को जितना भी निहारे, उसे तृप्ति नहीं मिलती है वह अतृप्त रहती है। यह पंक्ति नायिका के मन में, उसके प्रियतम के लिए असीम प्रेम को दर्शाता है। उसके प्रियतम का सलोना रूप उसे पल-पल बदलता रहता है और हर बार वह उसकी ओर अधिक आकर्षित होती है। इसलिए नायिका तृप्त नहीं है।

3. नायिका के प्राण तृप्त न हो पाने के, कारण अपने शब्दों में लिखिए।

उत्तर: नायिका अपने प्रियतम को जितना सोचती और याद करती, उतना ही वह बेचैन हो जाती है। प्रियतम का सलोना स्वरूप, उसे मनमोहित करता है। उसे अपने प्रियतम से अथाह प्रेम है, जिसके कारण वह अपने प्रियतम को जितना भी देखे उसे संतुष्टि नहीं मिलती, वह तृप्त नहीं होती है। उसका प्रेम जितना पुराना हो रहा है, उसके प्रेम की गहराई उतनी ही बढ़ती जा रही है। हर पल, हरदिन उसे अपने प्रेम में एक नवीनता महसूस होती है। वह बस अपने प्रियतम को देखते रहना चाहती है, ख्यालों में खोई रहती है इसलिए वह तृप्त नहीं हो पाती है।

4. 'सेह फिरत अनुराग बखानिअ तिल-तिल नूतन हो’ से लेखक का क्या आशय है ?

उत्तर : इन पंक्तियों से लेखक का आशय है की, प्रेम में डूबा व्यक्ति कितना भी प्रयास करले लेकिन इस माया से निकल नहीं पाता। कवि कहते हैं की, प्रेम एक ऐसा विषय है, जिसपर कुछ भी व्यक्त करना या टिप्पणी करना संभव नहीं है। प्रेम जितना पुराना होता है उसमे उतना ही गहरापन और नयापन होता है। कवि प्रेम के बारे में लिखने या व्यक्त करने को इसलिए असंभव कहते है क्योंकि कवि के अनुसार प्रेम स्थिर नहीं होता है,इसमें जिंदगी के हर मोड़ पर परिवर्तन और परीक्षाएं होती रहती हैं , इसलिए प्रेम को व्यक्त कर पाना कठिन होता है।

5. कोयल और भौरों के कलरव का नायिका पर क्या प्रभाव पड़ता है ?

उत्तर - कोयल और भौरों के कलरव का नायिका पर प्रतिकूल प्रभाव पड़ता है। कोयल का मधुर स्वर और भौरों की गुंजन उसे अपने प्रियतम की याद दिलाते हैं, जिससे उसकी पीड़ा और बढ़ जाती है। वह विरह अग्नि में जल रही है, वह कानो को बंद कर लेती है ताकि उसे कोयल का मधुर स्वर और भौंरों की गुंजन सुनाई न दे। कोयल और भौरों के कलरव नायिका को उसके प्रियतम की याद दिला कर सता रहे हैं।

6. कातर दृष्टि से चारों तरफ़ प्रियतम को ढूँढ़ने की मनोदशा को कवि ने किन शब्दों में व्यक्त किया है ?

उत्तर: कवि विद्यापति इसमें नायिका की कातर दृष्टि से चारों तरफ प्रियतम को ढूंढने की मनोदशा को इन पंक्तियों में वर्णित किया है ।

“कातर दिठि करि, चौदस हेरि हेर

नयन गरए जल धारा।"

अर्थात जिस तरह कृष्ण पक्ष की चतुर्दशी, आम दिनों से कमजोर होती है, उसी प्रकार नायिका का शरीर भी उसके प्रेमी की याद में कमजोर होकर धीरे धीरे मिट रहा है। उसकी आँखों से हर समय, आंसुओं की धारा बहती ही रहती है ।

8. निम्नलिखित का आशय स्पष्ट कीजिए:

(क) एकसरि भवन पिआ बिनु रे मोहि रहलो न जाए।

सखि अनकर दुख दारुन रे जग के पति आए ।।

(ख) जनम अवधि हम रूप निहारल नयन न तिरपित भेल ।।

सेहो मधुर बोल स्रवनहि सूनल सुति पथ परस न गेल।।

(ग) कुसुमित कानन हेरि कमलमुखि, मूदि रहए दु नयान ।

कोकिल-कलरव, मधुकर धुनि सुनि, कर देइ झाँप कान।।

उत्तर:

इस पद में कवि विद्यापति बता रहे हैं कि, नायिका का प्रियतम विदेश चला गया है तथा वह घर में अकेली है। अपने पति से विरह, उसे इतना परेशान करता है कि, वह अपने दिल की बात अपने सखी को कहती है कि, उसके प्रियतम की अनुपस्थिति उसे बहुत कष्ट और बेचैनी देती है, इस संसार में ऐसा कौन है जो दूसरे के दुःख को समझ पाए।
इस पद में कवि विद्यापति बता रहे हैं कि, नायिका किस तरह अतृप्त है । अपने प्रियतम के साथ रहते हुए उसे बहुत समय हो गया है परन्तु वह अभी भी संतुष्ट नहीं हो पायी है। प्रियतम के प्रदेश चले जाने पर वह उसकी विरह में व्याकुल हो जाती है,और ये विरह नायिका को बहुत कष्ट देती है। वह सदैव अपने प्रियतम को निहारती रहती थी, परन्तु उसे तृप्ति नहीं मिली क्योंकि उसे हर बार अपने प्रियतम के रूप तथा वाणी में नवीनता महसूस होती है, इसलिए वह अतृप्त रहती है।
इस पद में कवि विद्यापति नायिका के हृदय की स्थिति का वर्णन कर रहे है। प्रियतमा को वसंत ऋतू अच्छा नहीं लगता है। उसका प्रियतम उसके पास नहीं है, प्रियतम से वियोग के कारण वसंत के समय का वातावरण उसके दुःख को और बढ़ा रहा है। कमल के समान सुंदर चेहरे वाली नायिका ने दोनों हाथों से अपनी आँखें बंद कर लीं, जिससे वसंत के समय विकसित होने वाली नई प्रकृति, उसे दिखाई न दे। जब कोयल गाने लगती है और भौरें गुंजन करने लगते हैं, तो वह अपने कान बंद कर लेती है, क्योंकि उनकी मीठी आवाज उसे अपने प्रियतम का स्मरण कराते हैं, और उसकी पीड़ा और बढ़ जाती है।

Written by Shri Vidyapati, these verses Vidyapati have been described in this poem. In the first part, which reveals the heart evocation of nayaka, he describes her as extremely sad, as her heart is stolen by her beloved. He left Gokul and settled in Madhupur. The poet has expressed the possibility of his coming in Kartik month.
