1. संवदिया की क्या विशेषताएं हैं और गांव वालों के मन में संवदिया की क्या अवधारणा है?

उत्तर: संवदिया, फणीश्वरनाथ की सर्वश्रेष्ठ कृतियों में से एक है। संवदिया या कई विशेषताएँ थीं कि वह संदेश को जीस तरह से बताया गया है वैसे ही जाकर बता देता था। जैसे अगर किसी ने कोई बात रोककर कही है तो रोककर बताता था, अगर किसी ने बात हंसकर कही है तो हंसकर बताता था।गांव वालों के मन में संवदिया के लिए अवधारणा थी कि उसका काम बस संदेश एक गांव से दूसरे गांव तक पहुंचाना है। यह काम कोई भी कर सकता है।

2. बड़ी हवेली से बुलावा आने पर गोबिन के मन में किस प्रकार की आशंका हुई?

उत्तर: बड़ी हवेली से बुलाया आने पर हरगोबिंद के मन में आशंका  पैदा हुई कि अवश्य ही कोई गुप्त संदेश ले जाना होगा। जिसकी जानकारी किसी को नहीं होनी चाहिए।

3. बड़ी बहुरिया अपने मायके संदेश क्यों भेजना चाहती थी?

उत्तर: बड़ी बहुरिया अपने मायके अपनी माँ को अपने हालातों के बारे में बताना चाहती थी। वह चाहती थी कि वह अपना यह संदेश संवादिया के माध्यम से अपनी माँ को अपनी दयनीय परिस्तिथि का संदेश भेजें और उसके मायके वाले वह संदेश सुनकर उसे जल्द से जल्द यहाँ से ले जाएं। 

4. हरगोबिन बड़ी हवेली में पहुंचकर अतीत की किन स्मृतियों में खो जाता है?

उत्तर: हरगोबिन हवेली पहुंचकर आमरण करता है की पहले के समय में हवेली की ठाट बाट और शान अलग थी। घर में नौकरनिया तथा बड़े भैया के पास चमचे रहते थे। बड़ी बहुरिया महेन्दी लगे हाथों से कई नाइन परिवारों की ज़िम्मेदारी उठाती थी।

5. संवाद कहते वक़्त बड़ी बहुरिया की आँखे क्यों छलछला आई.?

उत्तर: संवाद कहते वक्त बड़ी बहुरिया की आँखे इसलिए छलछला गई थी क्योंकि उन्होंने अपनी दयनीय स्तिथि को सबसे छुपाया होआ था। और अब वह अपनी सारी दशा हरगोबिन को बता रही थी।

6. गाड़ी पर सवार होने के बाद संवदिया के मन में काँटे की चुभन का अनुभव क्यों हो रहा था.? उससे छूटकारा पाने के लिए उसने क्या उपाय सोचा.? 

उत्तर:  गाड़ी पर सवार होने के बाद बड़ी बहुरिया की बातें उसके मन में कांटे की तरह चुभ रही थी। उसने आजतक ऐसा संदेश नहीं पहुंचाया था। इस संदेश में एक बेटी अपनी माँ से सहायता मांगी रही है। बड़ी बहुरिया के मार्मिक संदेश उसके मन में काटे की तरह चुप रहे हैं।

7. बड़ी बहुरिया का संवाद हरगोबिन क्यों नही  सुना सका.? 

उत्तर:  हरगोविन्द बड़ी बहुरिया का संवाद इसलिए नहीं सुना सका क्योंकि उसने सोचा कि बड़ी बहुरिया इतने कष्ट में थी और गांव के किसी व्यक्ति ने मदद तक नहीं की। अगर दूसरे गांव से मदद मांगेंगे तो यह शर्म की बात होगी। अतः वह बड़ी बहुरिया का संवाद सुना नहीं सका।

8. संवदिया डटकर खाता है और अफर कर सोता है से क्या आशय है?

उत्तर: इस पंक्ति का आशय यह है कि समस्या जहाँ संदेश लेकर जाता है वहाँ उसकी बहुत आवभगत होती है। उसके लिए तरह तरह के पकवान बनाए जाते हैं जिन्हें खाकर वह खूब सोता है। अपनी आवभगत करना उसका अधिकार है।

9. जलालगढ पहुंचने के बाद बड़ी बहुरिया के सामने हरगोबिंद ने क्या संकल्प लिया?

उत्तर: जलालगढ़ पहुंचने के बाद हरगोबिंद ने बडी बहुरिया के सामने संकल्प लिया कि वह अब आलस नहीं करेगा। बेरोजगार नहीं बैठेगा। बड़ी बहुरिया की देखभाल एक माँ की तरह करेगा।

उत्तर:  डिजिटल इंडिया के दौर में संबंधियों की भूमिका सुनय है। क्योंकि आज के दौर में हर संदेश 1 मिनट के अंदर पहुँच जाता है संचार क्रांति में इतना विकास हुआ है। कोई भी व्यक्ति इस भागते दौड़ते समय मैं संबंधियों का कार्य नहीं कर सकता है। और ना ही किसी समाचार को पानी या पहुंचाने में इतना समय लगा कर उसकी प्रतीक्षा कर सकता है।     

1. इन शब्दों का अर्थ समझिए

a. काबुली कायदा

उत्तर:काबुली कायदा,  इसका मतलब यह है कि काबुल से आए व्यक्ति द्वारा बनाए गए नियम-कानून।

b. रोम रोम कलपने लगा

उत्तर:रोम रोम कल्पने लगा,  इसका अर्थ है कि रोम रोम दुख से परेशान हो गया।

c. अगहनी  धान 

उत्तर: अगहनी धान, अगहन के महीने में होने वाले धान को अग्रणी धान कहा जाता है। इसे दिसंबर के आसपास का समय माना जाता है।

2. पाठ के? वाक्यों को छठे और संदर्भ के साथ उनपर टिप्पणी लिखें।

a. फिर उसकी बुलाहट क्यों हुई? 

उत्तर:बड़ी हवेली से संवाद ले जाने का बुलावा आने पर हरगोबिंद के मन में यह सवाल आया। क्योंकि अब कोई भी संवदिया से संदेश नहीं भेजता था।

b. कहाँ गए वह दिन?

उत्तर: यह  वाक्य प्रश्नवाचक है हरगोबिंद हवेली के पुराने समय जब हवेली में रौनक हुआ करती थी। और नौकरानियों का डेरा हुआ करता था? वह याद करने पर उसके मन में यह प्रश्न उठता है।   

c. किसके भरोसे यह रही हूँ?

उत्तर: यह है प्रश्न बड़ी बहुरिया स्वयं से करती है। वह जानती है कि उसके पति की मृत्यु के बाद यहाँ उसका कुछ भी नहीं रह गया है।

3. इन पंक्तियों की व्याख्या कीजिए,

क) बड़ी हवेली अब नाम मात्र की ही बड़ी हवेली है।

उत्तर: अब बड़ी हवेली केवल नाममात्र की बड़ी हवेली रह गई है क्योंकि अब हवेली में पहले जैसी रौनक और नौकरों की भीड़ बढ़ नहीं रही।

ख) हरगोविन्द ने देखी अपनी आँखों से द्रौपदी की चीरहरण लीला।

उत्तर: इस पंक्ति में हरगोबिंद उस समय का वर्णन करता है। जब बड़ी बहुरानी के गहने उनके देवरों ने बांट लिए थे। यहाँ तक कि उनकी सारी के भी तीन टुकड़े कर दिए थे। इसलिए हरगोबिंद उनकी तुलना द्रौपदी के चीरहरण से करता है।

ग) बथुआ साग खाकर कब तक जियूँ.?

उत्तर: अपनी गरीबी को दर्शाने के लिए बड़ी बहुरिया कहती हैं कि बथुआ का साग क्योंकि बथुआ का साग खाली स्थानों पर ऐसे ही उग जाता है। वह खाकर जिंदा है। अपनी माँ को अपने बुरे हाल दर्शाने के लिए वह यह कहती हैं कि बथुआ साग खाकर कब तक जियूँ?

घ)  किस मुँह से वहाँ ऐसा संवाद सुनाएगा।

उत्तर: बड़ी बहुरिया का संवाद बहुत ही मार्मिक था। हरगोबिंद सोचता है, कि वह किस तरह संवाद बड़ी बहुरिया की माँ को सुनें वह दो सोचेगी बेटी को रानी बनाकर भेजा। वहीं उसे भिखारी साथ जीवन मैं जीना पड़ रहा है। उसके मन में कितना कष्ट होगा।
