2. How should one answer the NCERT question asking to justify the title of the poem, 'Yeh Sabse Kathin Samay Nahi'?

To solve this question effectively, you should structure your answer in two parts.

  • First, state that the title is appropriate because the poet, Jaya Jadwani, presents a hopeful perspective despite challenges.
  • Second, provide specific examples from the poem to support your point, such as the bird preparing to fly, the falling leaf being caught, and the train heading towards its destination. Conclude by saying these examples show that life's activities continue, proving it is not the most difficult time.

3. What is the correct method for answering the 'Kavita Se' (From the Poem) questions in Chapter 6?

The correct method involves a close reading of the poem. For each question, first identify the relevant stanza or lines that contain the answer. Your solution should begin by directly addressing the question and then quoting or referencing these lines to substantiate your explanation. This approach demonstrates a thorough understanding of the poem, which is crucial for scoring well.

4. Why is it important to quote lines from the poem in the answers for NCERT exercises?

Quoting lines from the poem is a critical part of the CBSE answering pattern because it serves as direct evidence for your interpretation. It shows the examiner that your answer is not just a summary but is based on a careful analysis of the poet's actual words. This method adds credibility and depth to your solutions for Chapter 6, moving them from simple statements to well-supported arguments.

5. How do the NCERT Solutions explain the symbolism of the train and the waiting person in 'Yeh Sabse Kathin Samay Nahi'?

The NCERT solutions explain that the train heading to its 'गंतव्य' (destination) symbolises life's continuous journey and purpose. The person waiting at the station represents hope and human connection. The solutions guide you to explain that as long as these journeys and connections exist, one should not lose hope. This is a powerful sign that this is not the most difficult time.

6. How do the NCERT solutions help frame an answer for a value-based question about applying the poem's message of hope?

The solutions guide you to connect the poem's abstract message to concrete actions. A good answer, as per the solutions' methodology, would involve:

  • Identifying the core message: Resilience and optimism.
  • Citing examples from the poem (bird, leaf, train) that illustrate this message.
  • Relating these examples to real-life situations, such as facing exam stress or overcoming personal setbacks with a positive outlook.

7. In solving the exercise for Chapter 6, what is the significance of the phrase 'अभी भी' (still/even now) and its repetition?

The phrase 'अभी भी' is repeated to create a strong sense of continuity and persistence. The correct way to explain its significance is to state that it acts as a refrain that reinforces the poem's central theme. It highlights that despite apparent difficulties, positive and life-affirming activities are still happening—a bird is still building its nest, a train is still running, and someone is still waiting for a loved one.

8. How do the NCERT solutions for 'Yeh Sabse Kathin Samay Nahi' help in connecting the poet's examples (bird, leaf, train) to the main argument?

The solutions demonstrate that these are not random examples but carefully chosen metaphors to build an argument. They guide you to explain *how* each example counters the idea of hopelessness. For instance, the bird's action is a metaphor for preparation and future-building, while the story told by the grandmother is a metaphor for the continuity of tradition and wisdom. The solutions help you articulate this link clearly in your answers.
