AP EAMCET Counselling 2020 will be conducted by the Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education (APSCHE) in the month of May- both online as well as offline. The basic criteria to take part in the AP EAMCET Counselling 2020 is to qualify in AP EAMCET 2020 with the stated marks. The AP EAMCET Counselling Procedure includes the payment of the counselling fees, document verification, choice filling and locking of seats, etc followed by the allotment of seats.
The candidates have to fulfil the given criteria to take part in the AP EAMCET 2020 Counselling:
1. AP EAMCET 2020 must be cleared with the proper score; the student should hold a rank.
2. The students should have passed the 10+2 or its equivalent examination with a minimum 45% marks (40 % marks for the candidates belonging to reserved category).
3. The minimum age of the candidate should be 16 years as on 31st December 2019.
AP EAMCET counselling dates are fixed by Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education (APSCHE). They are as follows:
The first round of fee payment for counselling will start from the last week of June to the first week of July 2020. July-August 2020 is allotted for the entry of options and document verification (in case a student has not completed her/his data). Fresh options will be available and alterations can be done from the first week of August 2020. Then seat allotment will also be done around that time.
In round 2, the candidates who had not paid their counselling fees in the first round will be allowed to do so from the second week of August 2020. Almost simultaneously, document verification and option entry will commence (for all the rank holders). By the third week of August 2020, seat allotment will be completed.
Counselling will be held in the third and the final round. By the third week of August, fee payment, document verification, and entry options will be completely done. In the last week of August 2020, seats will be allotted.
AP EAMCET counselling dates are fixed as per AP EAMCET Counselling schedule 2020 that was published in the month of January. Candidates can check the AP EAMCET Counselling dates well in advance before preparing their exam.
AP EAMCET Counselling 2020 is conducted by APSCHE through online mode from the first week of July to the last week of August. Candidates can follow the below-mentioned steps to get a clear idea of the AP EAMCET 2020 Counselling Procedure.
Candidates should pay the processing fee to take part in the AP EAMCET counselling 2020. The fee can be paid through debit/credit card/internet banking of any nationalized bank. The fee for the UR category students is Rs. 1200/- and for the reserved category students, Rs. 600/-. The fee can be paid by means of the following procedure:

Click on “Processing Fee Payment” link.
After that, click on the “Pay Fees” link
Next, you need to select the mode of payment.
After that fill the required credentials of credit/debit card/internet banking
Press the “Make Payment” button to pay the fees.
The confirmation message of the successful payment will be sent to the candidate’s registered mobile number.
The next step in the AP EAMCET 2020 Counselling Procedure is to check the Certificate Verification and fee payment status. The concerned authority will arrange for document verification for all the candidates qualified for AP EAMCET Counselling 2020. The following steps will be followed at this stage:
Candidates whose document verification is complete will get a message in their registered mobile number stating “Candidate is eligible for exercising options.” The AP EAMCET Counselling registration number will also be given in the message after successful fee payment.
Candidates whose documents are not verified properly will get a message stating “Candidate is not eligible for exercising option; contact the helpline centre for certificate verification.” In this case, the candidates have to visit the helpline centres along with all the relevant documents in original and complete their verification process.
This is one of the most vital steps in the AP EAMCET 2020 Counselling Procedure. Candidates have to follow the below sequence of activities:
Visit the official website apeamcet.nic.in
Press the “Candidate Registration” link
Fill in the registration number as received on mobile, AP EAMCET hall ticket number, rank in the entrance examination, and date of birth.
The details of the candidate will appear on the screen. The candidate will need to check the details and create a password for future reference.
Click on the “Save Password” button to complete the registration process.
A “Registration Successful” message will appear on the screen.
The next step in the AP EAMCET 2020 Counselling Procedure is the ‘option entry’. This step is subdivided into several steps which are as follows:
Visit the official website as mentioned above.
Click on the “candidate login” link.
Login through the registration number, password, hall ticket number and date of birth.
An OTP will be received in the registered mobile number.
After entering the OTP click on the “Click Here for Option Entry” button.
The district in which the college is located will be selected.
Click on the “Display Option Entry Form”.
Lastly, enter the preferred colleges in descending order and save the same for seat allotment.
The seats will be allotted to the candidates on the basis of preference, rank, score, etc.
Lastly, the candidates have to visit the allotted institute with all the relevant documents.
There are 10 colleges from which the candidates can pick their preferences. AP EAMCET Counselling will select the students as per the above-mentioned factors and place them in any one of the 10 colleges. The colleges are:
