JEE Advanced cut-off 2023 is important for the candidates as these are the minimum marks they need to score to participate in the JEE Advanced counselling process. It is important to note that the JEE Advanced cut-off depends on the difficulty level of the Question Paper.  If the difficulty level of the question paper is high, the cut marks are generally set low by authorities, and if the difficulty level is low, the cut-off marks are set high.


Note: JEE Advanced 2023 cut-off marks for 2023 will differ for categories, i.e., General, SC/ST, OBC, and Other Categories.

  • JEE Advanced cut-off is the minimum mark candidates need to score to be eligible for JEE Advanced counselling managed by JoSAA.

  • JoSAA released the JEE Advanced cut-off for different categories, i.e., General, SC/ST, OBC, and Other Categories. Similarly, the seat allotments are based on All India Rank (AIR). The exam conducting authorities release AIR along with the JEE Advanced results.

  • The colleges participating in the counselling process prepare individual cut-off marks for each course in the form of opening and closing ranks.
