IIT Madras has updated the registration dates for JEE Advanced 2024. The release date of the JEE Advanced application form is April 27 or Indian Nationals. Both international and Indian nationals can now apply for JEE Advanced 2024 until May 7. The last date to pay the application fee is May 10, 2024 for all candidates.


Candidates must have secured a rank among the top 2.5 lakh rank holders in the JEE Main exam to be eligible for JEE Advanced 2024. The exam will be held in two papers, each of three hours duration. Paper 1 and Paper 2 both will cover Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The syllabus for JEE Advanced 2024 is based on the Class 11 and Class 12 syllabus of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and other equivalent boards. The exam pattern is designed to test the candidate's understanding of fundamental concepts and their ability to apply them to solve problems.

Nationality:

  • Indian citizens or Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs) or Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs)


Academic Qualification:

The Joint Entrance Examination – Advanced (JEE Advanced) is a highly competitive entrance exam conducted annually for admission to the prestigious Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and other leading engineering and science institutions in India. JEE Advanced 2024 Counselling - JoSAA

The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) is responsible for the joint seat allocation for admissions to 118 institutes for the academic year 2023-24. This includes 23 IITs, 31 NITs, IIEST Shibpur, 26 IIITs and 38-Other Technical Institutes Funded Fully or Partially by Central or State Government (Other-GFTIs). Admission to all the academic programs offered by these Institutes will be made through a single platform.
