How will the JEE Advanced 2024 Result be Figured Out?

The officials will create the 2024 JEE Advanced result using a specific process.

• First, They will add up the scores of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics from Papers 1 and 2. So, if you got scores in Physics from both papers, they will add them together same goes for Chemistry and Maths.

Tie-breaking Rule of JEE Advanced Rank List 2024

• If two or more candidates get the same marks in the JEE Advanced exam, the authorities will use a specific rule to decide who gets higher ranks.

• First, they'll check the positive marks in the IIT Advanced 2024 result. The one with higher positive marks will get a better rank.

• If there's still a tie, they'll look at the marks in Mathematics. More marks in Mathematics mean a better rank.

What Happens after the Results?

After a candidate has qualified based on his/her JEE Advanced result, he/she has to register for Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) Counselling.
