This year’s UPESEAT exam will be held from 8th May to 15th May 2020. The exam will be computer-based and the question paper will be multiple-choice type. It will be not tougher than JEE. So you don’t need to fret over the exam. Put your 100% and hope for the best.

UPES stands for University of Petroleum and Energy studies. Nowadays there is too much competition in the traditional B.Tech courses. UPESEAT: Exam Pattern
In order to be happy about the UPESEAT result date, you have to know about the exam pattern and prepare for it proactively. UPESEAT will have multiple-choice based questions. You will be given 3 hours to complete the paper.
You will be awarded 1 mark for every correct answer. Fortunately, there will be no negative marking. There will be a total of 200 questions. 50 questions each will be there for MCP subjects. Interestingly, what you don’t see in other exams - in UPESEAT you will also be asked questions from current affairs and English Language/Comprehension. Thirty questions will be asked from English or Comprehension section and 20 will be asked from the current affairs section.
UPESEAT Eligibility Criteria
You have to clear your Secondary and H.S with 80% marks along with 85% marks in PCM subjects.
CBSE, ICSE and state board students will be getting some relief. 50% of the tuition fees will be waived for them on 10% of the seats in the first year.

What Happens After the Result Comes Out?
After the declaration of UPESEAT results, candidates will be required to visit the allotted venue for counselling. They will get seats as per their rank.
You need to bring with you the following things on the counselling session after UPESEAT results:
Counselling call letter.
4 to 8 Passport size photographs.
UPESEAT admit card.
The proof that you belong to the state of Dehradun.
Original mark sheets of secondary and higher secondary exams and their self-attested photocopies.
A DD in favour UPES Fee Account - payable at Dehradun. This is for the first year fee payment.
