Counselling 2022 OJEE
OJEE counseling 2022 will be conducted by the Authority of Odisha Joint Entrance Examination in the months of June and July this year. OJEE Counseling 2022- Key Details to Be Noted
The process for registration to OJEE counseling through JEE main 2022 is done online. The details will be released through a notification by the authorities. OJEE registration for counseling will be done after you fill in the form and pay the required fees for counseling. You will be allotted seats in the college of your choice through counseling. The seat allotment will be based on your rank on the merit list for marks secured by you in JEE main or OJEE 2022. You will come to know of the OJEE counseling documents required online or from the OJEE helpline. OJEE seat allotment is done based on the merit list. You will find a detailed notification in the month of May that will have the procedure, schedule and venue.
OJEE counseling is done separately for JEE main and OJEE qualified candidates. The preference is given to those candidates who have JEE main score. The registration for counseling will begin in the third week of June 2022. Around this time, the payment of fees for counseling has to be made. You should mention the choice of colleges for JEE main. The mock allotment will be done in the last week of June 2022. The registration process will end in the last week of June 2022. The OJEE seat allotment will be done in stages. There will be a display of seat allotment in the first week of July. It will be the round 1 of Seat allotment. A similar trend was observed in case of the release of the OJEE counseling 2018 date.
There will be a separate date for payment of admission fees and reporting at the Nodal Center. Your documents will be verified at these nodal centers. The time for the payment of admission fees and your reporting to the Nodal Center is July 2022, in the second week. There will be a separate date for Withdrawal of Seats at Nodal Centers. It will be done in the month of July, around the second week.
Seat Allotment will be displayed again. The next round of seat allotment will be done in the third week of July 2022. Information regarding seat allotment in round II will be final.
There will be a separate date for document verification. It will be only for newly allotted seats in the 2nd round. The month in which it will be done is July 2022, third week. There is a provision of withdrawal of seats at Nodal Centers. It will be done in the third week of July 2022.
In the last week of July 2022, display of final allotment will be done. During this time, document verification for the newly allocated candidates in the final round will be done too.
Starting date of registration along with choice filling for the 1st phase left out and special OJEE 2019 candidates is July last week 2022. Closing date of registration will be in the last week of July.
Round one allotment for this phase will be in August first week 2022. Document verification will be done at the nodal centers in August first week, 2022. The final allotment of seats will be displayed and the vacant seats will be surrendered to colleges for college-level admission.
OJEE Counseling 2022 – Process Explained.
The counseling will be done in several rounds in between June to July 2022. This will be conducted by the authorities. There will be separate rounds of OJEE counseling in various steps.
Step 1: Registration for OJEE 2022 Counseling: if you are declared qualified for counseling, you will have to register online to attend the counseling and admission process. You will have to fill the online registration form with required details. You have to pay for the counseling process. You will have to furnish details like your OJEE registration for counseling number, name, gender, date of birth, educational qualification, and marks secured in Special OJEE. After this you will need to pay the counseling fees online, using credit or debit card.
Step 2: You will have to give your choice of colleges in order of preference. You should furnish as many choices as are permitted. The order of choice should be in the order of preference of colleges and specialization. You have to lock your choices within the last date of intimation in this regard.
Step 3: Temporary Seat Allotment: You will be given a temporary seat allotment by the authorities based on your choices and OJEE merit list. You can check your seat allotment status from the official website.
Step 4: Reporting at Nodal Centers for admission fee payment: You will have to visit the nodal reporting center if you have been allotted a temporary seat. There the physical verification of your documents will be done and payment of fees will need to be made. You will pay Rs 25,000 towards seat confirmation. This payment will need to be made in the designated bank. You should download the letter for temporary seat allotment and visit the nodal center with all the documents as mentioned in the letter. You should also carry payment receipt for admission fee during verification. The documents to be carried by you are as follows:
JEE main result card, registration slip of counseling received online, payment receipt for admission fee, date of birth document, class 12th mark sheet, resident certificate, SC/ST certificate, Green card from Government of Odisha, NRI status certificate if you are NRI, Medical certificate.
Step 5: Final Seat Allotment: The OJEE authority will release the final seat allotment status of yours.
Step 6: You will be reporting to the allotted institute for the confirmation of the seat allotment.
