2. What is the marking scheme and weightage marks of different subjects in the NEET paper?
The NEET examination is an entrance test for admissions in the medical colleges in India. Many students every year sit for this exam and compete for the selected medical seats. The examination contains a total of 180 questions and the time limit for the examination is 3 hours.
The paper is an objective type. For every question, multiple choices are given and students have to mark the one they feel is the correct one. For every correct response, you get 4 marks and for every incorrect response, one mark is deducted. Students will find 45 questions from the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Zoology and Botany each, for a total of 720 marks.
