NEET 2020 Correction Window


NEET 2020 application form correction window was re-enabled on 13th of March by National Testing Agency (NTA). Applicants can make any required changes in their application form of NEET till 19th March 2020. Prior to this, NTA had reopened NEET 2020 application form process for registered candidates from 3rd to 9th of February. In this, the last opportunity for completion of the NEET registration form, students could only fill up the remaining details in the application, upload scanned images and pay the application fees. NEET Correction dates are closed by 19th March 2020. 


NEET application fee could be paid only in online mode either by Credit/Debit card, Net banking or UPI payment gateway. The NEET application fee is increased to Rs 1500 for General category. NCL OBC candidates and EWS candidates have to pay Rs 1400 and SC/ST/OBC candidates will have to pay Rs 800. Earlier the authorities had availed the facility of NEET correction window for the application form from 15th to 31st of January, 2020. The National Testing Agency closed the application form process of NEET 2020 on January 6, at 11:50 PM. But still, applicants whose NEET registration fees had not been submitted can also deposit the fee till 11:50 PM of January 7, 2020, by logging into the portal. The conducting board has extended NEET application form 2020 last date of submission from December 31, 2019, to January 6, 2020.


Applicants have to initially complete NEET registration by filling up the details in the NEET application form 2020 by uploading photograph and signature, payment of application fee and finally submitting the form. The conducting board has also provided the facility to fill up NEET application form in offline mode for only those aspirants who belong to Kashmir valley and Leh. However, 10 nodal centres were set up by NTA on December 15, 2019, and 11 centres were also set by the Srinagar administration to help students with the application form. Candidates have to ensure they meet the eligibility criteria of the NEET Exam before they fill the NEET application form 2020. 


National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is scheduled to be conducted on 3rd of May 2020 for the admissions into MBBS and BDS course seats offered in all the medical and dental colleges of India which includes AIIMS and JIPMER. Admit cards will soon be available online for download from 27th March 2020. NEET 2020 is also conducted for the admission into Veterinary, AYUSH and other medical and paramedical courses furnished in various government and private colleges in India.

NEET Counselling 2020 Eligibility

  • Candidates who have qualified in the NEET 2020 entrance exam by achieving the minimum qualifying percentile will be eligible to take part in the counselling process. 

  • Candidates belonging to the state of Jammu and Kashmir will not be eligible to take part in the NEET counselling. 

  • Applicants have to register themselves on the Medical Counselling Committee website within the specified time to be eligible to take part in the counselling. 

  • All the applicants who have qualified in NEET, including from Jammu and Kashmir state are eligible to take part in the AIQ counselling for Deemed Universities. 

NEET Counselling Schedule 2020 

The Director-General of Health Services (DGHS) will conduct the counselling on behalf of the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). NEET 2020 results are expected to be released on the 4th of June 2020. After which the NEET counselling procedure 2020 will follow up. The counselling process will be conducted state wise with their respective state authorities. Below are the details on how to register for neet counselling and NEET counselling form 2020.

After the completion of the registration process, candidates will now submit a refundable and a non-refundable counselling fee. Candidates can pay this fee online through credit/debit card or internet banking. 

Step 3: Availability of seats and locking of choices


After paying the counselling fee, applicants have to choose their preferences and submit. Locking of choices will be available only for a certain period of time. 


Step 4: Seat Allotment Results

The Medical Counselling Committee will release the neet counselling result 2020 of seat allotment after every round of counselling. It releases along with the form of a list which is followed by the seat allotment letter to the selected candidates. 


Documents required for neet counselling 2020: Candidates have to submit the below-mentioned documents while reporting to the allotted colleges. 

  • NEET 2020 admit card

  • NEET rank letter/scorecard

  • Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheet and certificates

  • Provisional allotment letter

  • 8 passport size photographs

  • ID proof (Aadhaar/PAN card/Driving license/Passport)

  • Caste/PwD certificate (if applicable)
