PAAR or Prospective Aspirants Advanced Registration facility has been introduced in AIIMS Bsc nursing 2023 to reduce the total number of rejections in this course. Under this process, aspirants have to complete a 2 step registration process which has been termed as basic and final registration.

2. How is nursing basic and post-basic courses different in terms of eligibility criteria?

While both these examinations require its candidates to pass their standard 12 examinations with Physics, Chemistry and Biology, post-basic courses also require a diploma in midwifery and general nursing. In the case of basic nursing courses, only female candidates are allowed, though in post-basic courses male candidates are also permitted.

3. What is the examination pattern for AIIMS BSc nursing entrance examination?

The AIIMS nursing 2023 exam is to be conducted online in English. The question papers are usually divided into 4 sections of which Physics, Chemistry and Biology have 30 marks each, while general knowledge carries 10 marks.
