The National Testing Agency (NTA) holds the responsibility of conducting the NEET 2024 exam, and it is set to declare the allocation of cities for the exam centres during the final week of April 2024. A total of 543 cities within India and 14 cities abroad are designated to host NEET exam centres in the year 2024.
The particulars pertaining to each candidate's designated NEET exam centre will be specified on the NEET hall ticket for the year 2024. Anticipated to be issued around May 2024, the NEET 2024 admit card will carry this information. Once the exam centre is allocated, candidates will not be permitted to request a change.
The assignment of NEET exam centres is based on the preferences marked by candidates in the NEET 2024 online form. In the previous iteration, there were a total of 3,855 NEET centres. Guidelines for Selecting NEET 2024 Exam Centres
Check the NTA website for the list of available exam centers. The NTA will release a list of all the available exam centers for NEET 2024. You can check the list on the NTA website.
Consider your preferences when choosing an exam center. You should consider the following factors when choosing an exam center:
Proximity: Choose an exam center that is close to your home or place of residence. This will help you to avoid traffic congestion and travel delays on the day of the exam.
Familiarity: If you are familiar with the exam center, it will help you to feel more comfortable on the day of the exam. You may also be able to find a study spot near the exam center, which can be helpful for last-minute preparation.
Accessibility: Choose an exam center that is accessible to you. If you have any disabilities, you should make sure that the exam center is wheelchair accessible and has other accommodations available.
Choose your preferred exam centers. You can choose up to three preferred exam centers. Your first preference will be your top choice, your second preference will be your second choice, and so on.
Submit your application form. When you submit your application form, you will need to select your preferred exam centers. The NTA will try to accommodate your preferences, but they may not be able to do so if there are no seats available at your preferred exam centers.
