    NEET Eligibility Criteria

The age limit is also the same for candidates of PwD category. As for the upper age limit, the earlier requirement of 25 and 30 years has been removed.

  • • Academic qualification – NEET aspirants in 2019 should have Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English in their class 12th or its equivalent exam to be eligible to appear in it.

  • • Qualifying marks – Aspirants must also have obtained the required qualifying marks in their 12th or equivalent exam to be eligible for NEET. It varies as per the category they belong to. For the unreserved category, the minimum score is an aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. For the reserved category, the minimum percentage should be 40, and for PwD candidates, it should be 45%.

    Step 1 – Registration

    A candidate needs to register with NTA before applying for NEET. To register, they have to fill up details like – 

  • • Candidate’s name, mobile number & email id
