1. किन बातों से ज्ञात होता है कि माधवदास का जीवन सम्पन्नता से भरा हुआ था और किन बातों से पता चलता है कि वह सुखी नहीं था? 

उत्तर: निम्नलिखित बातो से ज्ञात होता है कि माधवदास का जीवन सम्पन्नता से भरा हुआ है -- 

1.माधवदास ने अपनी संगमरमर की नयी कोठी बनवाई थी | जिसके सामने एक बहुत सुहावना बगीचा भी बनवाया था |

2.माधवदास के पास धन की भी कोई कमी नहीं थी |

3.वह उस चिड़िया को भी धन का लोभ देते हुए कहता है कि “वह उसके रहने के लिए सोने का पिंजरा बनवा देगा |”

कई  बातों से पता चलता है वह सुखी नहीं था जैसे कि उसके पास किसी भी वस्तु की कमी नही थी लेकिन वह इतनी बड़ी कोठी में अकेला रहता था यही कारण था की वह सुखी होकर भी सुखी नहीं था|

2. माधवदास क्यों बार -बार  चिड़िया से कहता है कि यह बगीचा तुम्हारा ही है ? क्या माधवदास निस्वार्थ मन से ऐसा कह रहा था ? स्पष्ट कीजिये |

उत्तर: माधवदास बार-बार चिड़िया को  कह रहा था कि यह बगीचा तुम्हारा ही है | वह ऐसा इसलिए कह रहा था क्योंकि वह उस छोटी- सी, प्यारी -सी  चिड़िया को अपने पास पिंजरे में कैद  रखना चाहता था ताकि वह चिड़िया उसका मन बहला सके | अतः, माधवदास यह सब स्वार्थ भाव से बोल रहा था अगर वह निस्वार्थी होता तो वह चिड़िया को जबरदस्ती पकड़ कर अपने पास रखने की कोशिश नहीं करता |  

3. माधवदास के बार- बार समझाने पर भी चिड़िया सोने के पिंजरे और सुख -सुविधाओं को  कोई महत्त्व नहीं दे रही थी | दूसरी तरफ माधवदास की नज़र मे चिड़िया की ज़िद  का  कोई  तुक न था| माधवदास और  चिड़िया के मनोभावों के अंतर  क्या -क्या  थे ? अपने शब्दों  मे  लिखिए |

उत्तर: चिड़िया और माधवदास दोनों के मनोभाव एक दूसरे से विपरीत थे | चिड़िया एक आज़ाद पक्षी है जिसे खुले आसमान में उड़ना पसंद है, अपनी माँ के साथ रहना पसंद है। चिड़िया के लिए  सोने -चांदी से ज्यादा महत्वपूर्ण उसकी आज़ादी  और उसकी माँ का स्नेह था  | इसके  विपरीत माधवदास ,जो एक स्वार्थी व्यक्ति था  जिसके लिए धन -सम्पत्ति , सुख -सुविधाएं ही जीवन जीने के लिए जरुरी है नाकि प्रेम |  

4. कहानी  के अंत में नन्ही चिड़िया का सेठ के नौकर के पंजे से भाग निकलने की बात पढ़कर तुम्हे कैसा लगा ? चालीस -पचास या  इससे कुछ अधिक शब्दों में अपनी प्रतिक्रिया लिखिए |  

उत्तर: कहानी के अंत मे हमने देखा की नन्ही चिड़िया  कैसे भी करके उस सेठ के नौकर के पंजे से भाग निकलती है |कहानी का यह एक सुखद अंत था क्योकि अगर वह चिड़िया  पकड़ी जाती तो इसका परिणाम बुरा होता | लेकिन वह चिड़िया अब आज़ाद है और अपनी माँ के साथ खुश है । कहानी के अंत में चिड़िया के  बचने से मुझे बहुत ख़ुशी हुई | चिड़िया  सिर्फ छोटी  और प्यारी  ही नहीं  बल्कि वह बहादुर भी थी।  

5. ‘ माँ मेरी बाट  देखती होगी ‘_ नन्ही चिड़िया बार -बार इसी बात को कहती है | आप अपने अनुभव के आधार पर बताइये  की हमारी ज़िंदगी में  माँ का क्या महत्व  है ?    

उत्तर: हमारे जीवन की आधार है माँ | माँ के बिना जीवन असंभव  है | माँ सर्वोपरि है | हर बच्चे के लिए  उसकी माँ सबसे प्यारी है | माँ हमारी पहली दोस्त  है , माँ हमारी पहली गुरु है, अर्थात माँ ईश्वर के सामान है | माँ अपने बच्चे की खुशी में खुश  होती है, दुःख में दुखी  होती है | हम अपने माँ के ऋणी है उनका ऋण हम नहीं चूका सकते हैं क्योंकि हमारी माँ हमसे अपार प्रेम करती है| वो भी नि:स्वार्थ भाव से इसलिए वह चिड़िया बार- बार अपनी माँ को याद करती है |

6.  इस कहानी का कोई  और शीर्षक देना हो तो आप क्या देना चाहेंगे और क्यो ?

उत्तर: इस कहानी का शीर्षक हम ‘ जीवन का असली सुख ‘ रख सकते हैं क्योंकि इस कहानी में हमने जिंदगी जीने के दो भिन्न नजरिये पढ़े हैं | 

7. इस कहानी मे आपने देखा कि वह चिड़िया अपने घर से दूर आकर भी अपने घोंसले तक वापस पहुँच जाती हैं | मधुमक्खी चींटिया ग्रह – नक्षत्रो तथा प्रकृति की अन्य विभिन्न चीजों मे हमे अनुशासनबद्धता देखने को मिलती है | इस तरह के स्वाभाविक अनुशासन का रुप आपको कहाँ -कहाँ देखने को मिलता है ? उदाहरण देकर बताइए |

उत्तर: इस तरह का स्वाभाविक अनुशासन हमे निम्न रूपों में देखने मिलता है जैसे हर दिन सूर्य का अपने निश्चित समय पर निकलना , पृथ्वी का अपनी धूरी पर लगातार चक्कर लगाना ,पशु -पक्षी का  विचरण करने के बाद शाम को अपने घरौंदे में वापस आ जाना | इन प्राकृतिक रूपो में कभी परिवर्तन नहीं होता |

8. सोचकर लिखिए कि यदि सारी सुविधाएं देकर एक कमरे में आपको सारे दिन बंद रहने को कहा जाए तो क्या स्वीकार करेंगे ? आपको अधिक प्रिय क्या होगा_ ‘ स्वाधीनता ‘ या ‘ प्रलोभनवाली  पराधीनता’? ऐसा क्यों कहा जाता है की पराधीन व्यक्ति को सपने में भी सुख नहीं मिल पाता | नीचे दिए गये कारणों को पढ़े और विचार करे _

क) क्योंकि किसी को पराधीन बनाने की इच्छा रखनेवाला व्यक्ति स्वंय दुखी होता है , वह  किसी को सुखी नहीं कर सकता | 

ख) क्योंकि पराधीन व्यक्ति सुख के सपने देखना ही नहीं चाहता| 

ग) क्योंकि पराधीन व्यक्ति को सुख के सपने देखने का भी अवसर नहीं मिलता | 

उत्तर: हर तरह की सुख सुविधाएं मिलने के बाद भी हर व्यक्ति को उसकी आज़ाद जिन्दगी ज्यादा प्यारी होती है | पराधीन व्यक्ति के पास हर तरह की सुख सुविधाएं क्यों ना हो लेकिन वह सुख सुविधाएं हमे आराम दे सकती है लेकिन सुकून नहीं , क्योंकि पराधीन व्यक्ति ऐसी सुविधाओं में हर समय घुट घुट कर जीने पर विवश होता है |

9. आपने गौर किया होगा कि मनुष्य पशु पक्षी – इन तीनो में ही माँएँ अपने बच्चो का पूरा -पूरा ध्यान रखती है | प्रकृति की इस  अदभुत देन का अवलोकन कर अपने शब्दो मे लिखिए | 

उत्तर: एक माँ और बच्चे का रिश्ता बहुत गहरा होता है इसलिए इन दोनों का प्रेम हर जीव में दिखता है| माँ कितनी भी पीड़ा सहकर एक बच्चे को पालती -पोसती है | अपनी प्रेम रूपी छाया में रखकर  हर दुःख और परेशानी से बचाती है इसलिए माँ अनमोल है |

10. पाठ में पर शब्द के तीन प्रकार के प्रयोग हुए है _

क) गुलाब की डाली पर एक चिड़िया आन बैठी | 

ख) कभी पर हिलाती थी | 

ग) पर बच्ची काँप-काँपकर माँ की छाती से चिपक गई|

• तीनो ‘ पर ’ के प्रयोग तीन उद्देश्यों से हुए है | इन वाक्यों का आधार लेकर आप भी ‘ पर ‘ प्रयोग कर तीन वाक्य बनाइए जिनमे अलग-अलग उद्देश्यों के लिए ‘पर’ के प्रयोग हों | 

उत्तर:

1. मेज़ पर (के ऊपर ) किताब रखी है |

2. चिड़िया के पर (पंख ) बहुत सुन्दर है | 

3. पर (लेकिन )मैं नहीं आ सकती | 

2. पाठ मे तैनें छनभर खुश करियो – तीन  वाक्यांश ऐसे हैं जो खड़ीबोली हिंदी के वर्तमान रुप में तूने, क्षणभर ,खुश करना लिख -बोले जाते है लेकिन हिंदी के निकट की बोलियों में कहीं कहीं इनके प्रयोग होते है | इस तरह के कुछ अन्य शब्दो की खोज कीजिये |

Vasant Class 7 Chapter 9- Overview

The story written by Janindra Kumar beautifully depicts the importance of independence and the self-centred nature of the human species. The story revolves around a rich stalwart Madhav Das and a magnificent bird. After spending an enormous amount of wealth, he has built a beautiful mansion with a well-spread garden. In the evening, he used to sit and admire the beauty of the garden. However, he used to feel lonely.

Part - 1

One evening while enjoying the beauty of his garden, he noticed a beautiful bird sitting on the branch of a rose plant. The bird’s neck was red. It had a faded red and pink body, ending with blue towards the corner. Her wings were spectacular. Her entire body had alluring patterns. Madhav Das was fascinated by seeing the bird.

The bird was very happy to see the beautiful garden and started dancing on the branches. After watching the bird for a while, he told her that he has made this garden for her only. The bird was startled after hearing what Madhav Das has said. The bird told Madhav Das that she had stopped to take some fresh air.

Madhav Das told her it was her garden and she can stay there permanently. Taken aback by his words, the bird stopped dancing. Madhav Das proposed to her that she can stay at his empty mansion and sing. The bird told him that she was going back to her mother. She used to get out of her home to enjoy the sun rays, play with the winds and talk to the flowers.

Part - 2

To make her stay, Madhav Das even proposed to make a golden cage for her. He even offered her pearls to eat. The bird was frightened after listening to his offers. The bird said she loves to stay with her mother. She has her nest built by her mother to sta and enough food to keep her satisfied. She even told Madhav Das that her mother must be waiting for her.

Madhav Das offered her various luxuries to lure her into staying in the mansion, but she was adamant to leave. Madhav Das offered her a golden cage, a chandelier made of pearls and a golden bowl for her food.

Part - 3

While talking to the bird, Madhav Das pressed a button. On hearing the bell, a servant came running. Madhav Das indirectly indicated him to catch the bird. To make the bird stay, Madhav Das kept the conversation going. He asked about her brothers and her sisters. She told him that she had two sisters and one brother. She was in a hurry to leave for her home since it had started getting dark.

All of a sudden, the bird could feel a harsh touch of hands on her body. She started to scream and slipped away from the servant’s hand. Quickly, she started flying and reached home to her mother. She hugged her mother and started crying. Her mother asked her the reason for crying but she didn’t say anything. She was glued to her mother’s chest as if she was never getting separated from her.

In this story, Chapter 9 Chidiya ki Bachchi, the author has described the simplicity of the bird, her horrors of getting locked up in a cage and her desire to be independent. The story has also described how cruel human beings can become to satiate their greed.
