1. यासुकी – चान को अपने पेड़ पर चढ़ाने के लिए तोत्तो- चान ने अथक प्रयास क्यों किया? लिखिए।

उत्तर: तोत्तो- चान ने यासूकी – चान को पेड़ पर चढ़ाने के लिए अथक प्रयास इसलिए किया क्योंकि वह यासुकी – चान का प्रिय मित्र था। वह पोलियोग्रस्त थी इसलिए वह पेड़ पर नहीं चढ़ सकती थी। जापान में उस समय हर बच्चे के पास चढ़ने के लिए अपना एक पेड़ होता था। लेकिन यसूकी – चान को पोलियो हो गया था इसलिए उसके पास अपना कोई पेड़ नहीं था । इसलिए तोत्तो – चान ने यासुकी – चान को अपने पेड़ पर चढ़ाने के लिए अथक प्रयास किया था।

2. दृद – निश्चय और सफलता प्राप्त करने के बाद तोत्तो – चान और यासुकि – चान को अपूर्व अनुभव प्राप्त हुआ। दोनो के अनुभव बहुत अलग है। दोनो में क्या अंतर है? लिखिए।

उत्तर:तोत्तो – चान का पेड़ अपना था इसलिए वह उसपर बहुत बार चढ़ चुका था। लेकिन उसकी दोस्त पोलियो ग्रस्त थी इसलिए उसे अपनी दोस्त को द्विशाखा पर पहुंचाने पर बहुत खुशी मिलती है। चूँकि यासूकि – चान के पास अपनी बीमारी कि वजह से अपना कोई पेड़ नहीं था। इसलिए उन्हें इससे बहुत खुशी मिली और उनके लिए यह अनुभव बिल्कुल नया था।

3. पाठ में खोजकर देखिए – कब सूरज का ताप यासूकि – चान और तोत्तो – चान पर कब पड़     रहा था वह दोनो पसीने में तरबतर हो रहे थे और कब एक बदल का टुकड़ा उन्हें छाया देकर बचाने लगा था। आपके अनुसार इस परिस्थिति को बदलने का क्या कारण हैं?

उत्तर: यासूकि – चान ने जब पहली सीढ़ी की सहायता से पेड़ पर चढ़ने का प्रयास किया तो वह प्रयास व्यर्थ हो गया । उसके बाद तोत्तो – चान तिपाई सीढ़ी खीच कर लाए और तोत्तो – चान यासुकी – चान को पेड़ पर चढ़ाने का अथक प्रयास करते हैं। उस समय तेज धूप होने के कारण दोनों पसीने में तरबतर हो गए और इसी समय एक बादल का टुकड़ा आकर उन्हें कड़कती धूप से बचाकर छाया देता है। उस समय उन दोनों की मदद करने के लिए कोई नहीं था इसलिए प्रकृति खुद उनकी मदद करने आ गई थी।

4. 'यासूकि – चान के पास पेड़ पर चढ़ने का यह…………अंतिम मौका था ' लेखिका ने ऐसा क्यों कहा हैं?

उत्तर: ' यासूकि के पास पेड़ पर चढ़ने के लिए यह अंतिम और आखिरी मौका होगा ' । यासूकि – चान पोलियो ग्रस्त थी और उसका दोस्त उसे पेड़ पर चढ़ाने के लिए अथक प्रयास करता है। तोत्तो – चान उसके बार-बार असफल होने पर वह उसे बड़ो से छिपाकर पेड़ पर चढ़ाने का प्रयास करता है इसलिए लेखिका कहती हैं कि उसके पास यह अंतिम और आखिरी मौका हैं।

1. तोत्तो – चान ने अपनी योजना को बड़ो से इसलिए छिपा लिया क्योंकि यह जोखिम था, यासुकी – चान  के गिरने की संभावना थी फिर भी यासुकि – चान  की पेड़ पर चढ़ने की दृढ इच्छा थी। ऐसी दृढ इच्छाएं बुद्धि और कड़ी मेहनत से पूरी हो जाती हैं। आप किस तरह सफलता के लिए तीव्र इच्छा और बुद्धि का प्रयोग करके कठिन परिश्रम करना चाहते हो?

उत्तर: मैं उस कार्य कि तीव्र इच्छा और बुद्धि का प्रयोग करके कठिन परिश्रम करना चाहते हूँ जिससे दूसरो को खुशी मिले और उनकी मदद हो सके और खुद को आत्म संतुष्टि मिले।

2. हम अक्सर बड़े – बड़े कारनामों के बारे में सुनते रहते हैं लेकिन ' अपूर्व अनुभव ' कहानी एक मामूली जोखिम और बहादुरी की और हमारा ध्यान खीचती है।यदि आपको अपने आस पास के संसार में कोई रोमांचकारी अनुभव करना हो तो आप क्या करोगे?

उत्तर: अगर मुझे अपने आसपास कोई रोमांचकारी अनुभव करने का अवसर प्राप्त होगा तो मैं पहाड़ो पर माउंटेन क्लाइम्बिंग करना चाहूंगा। 

अनुमान और कल्पना

1. अपनी माँ से झूठ बोलते समय तोत्तो – चान  की नजरें नीचे क्यों थी ?

उत्तर: यासूकि – चान पोलियोग्रत थी और पेड़ चढ़ने में जोखिम था कि कहीं वह गिर ना जाए । इसलिए उसने अपनी माँ से बोला था कि वह तोत्तो – चान के घर जा रही है और यह बोलते समय उसने अपनी आंखें नीचे करली थी क्यूंकि उसको डर था कहीं उसकी माँ उसका झूठ न पकड़ ले।

2. यासूकि – चान जैसी शारीरिक चुनौतियों से गुजरने वाले लोगो के लिए सुविधा हर जगह नहीं होती। लेकिन कुछ जगहों पर ऐसी सुविधाएं होती है। इन सुविधा वाली जगहों की सूची बनाईए।

उत्तर:मेट्रो स्टेशन पर, अस्पतालों पर, हवाई अड्डों पर शारीरिक प्रतिबन्ध वाले व्यक्तियों के लिए उपर नीचे जाने के लिए लिफ्ट बनी होती है और विद्यालय में इनके लिए रैंप बनी होती है।

भाषा की बात 

1. द्विशाखा शब्द द्वि और शाखा की योग से बना है। द्वि का अर्थ है – दो और शाखा का अर्थ है – डाल। द्विशाखा पेड़ के तने का वह भाग होता है जहां से दो मोटे मोटे डाल निकलते हैं।द्वि की भाती आप त्रि से बनने वाले त्रिकोण को जानते होंगे। त्रि का अर्थ होता है – तीन । ठीक इस प्रकार चार, पांच, छ, सात, आठ , नौ , दस आधी संख्यवाची शब्द भी उपयोग में आते होंगे।इन शब्दो की जानकारी इकट्ठी कीजिए और देखिए क्या इन शब्दो की ध्वनियां अंग्रेजी शब्दो से  मिलती है जैसे हिंदी – आठ, संस्कृत – अष्ट,अंग्रजी – ऐट।

2. पाठ में ठिठियाकर हसने लगी, पीछे से धकियाने लगी। जैसे वाक्य आए हैं। ठिठियाकर हसने का अर्थ आप अनुमान लगा सकते हैं। ठि ठि ठि हसना या ठठा मारकर हसना।बोलचाल में प्रयोग होता है। इसमें हसने के एक ख़ास अंदाज को हसी का विशेषण बना दिया गया है। साथ ही ठिठियाना और धकियाना  आना प्रत्यय का प्रयोग किया है। इस प्रत्यय से फिल्माना शब्द भी बन सकता है।' आना ' प्रत्यय से बनने वाले चार सार्थक शब्दो को लिखिए।
