I will keep the blanket for half the year during winter. You can keep it for half the year during summer.’ Bala agreed.

Answer:  No, Amit's way of sharing is not entirely fair. He gets most of the useful benefits, especially the fruits, and more valuable use of the items.

Is there another way to share it fairly? 

Answer: A fairer way to share would be for Amit and Bala to alternate using all the items equally. They could share the fruits equally from the mango tree and alternate the use of the solar lamp and blanket during both the day and night, instead of keeping them only for part of the year or time of day. This way, both brothers would benefit equally from all the items.
