Ans: My name is Neha Sharma and yes I have a pet name. Everyone in my family lovingly calls me ‘Gudiya’. I call my mother ‘maa’, father ‘papa’, grandmother ‘ dadi’ and grandfather ‘dada’.

Ans: I look very similar to my mother. My nose, eyes, and smile is just like my mother.

Ans: No, my family is not involved in any particular work and we do not have any business running. My mother is a teacher in a school and my father work as an engineer in a company.


6. Do you help the family with the work?

Ans: Yes, I do help my family with the work. I help them with gardening and cleaning sometimes.


7. You also learnt many things from your family. What and from whom? Has anyone learnt anything from you?

Ans: Yes, I learnt how to make tea from my mother. My grandfather taught me gardening and planting flowers. My grandmother taught me to make earthen pots. My father taught me to draw and paint. Yes, I have taught my grandmother to read newspapers and books.

Ans: Yes, my grandfather has a habit of laughing loudly when he is happy. He also sings old songs whenever he is in a happy mood.

Ans: In our family we show respect to our elders by touching their feet every day, by talking to them politely, listening to their stories and making them smile.
