Chapter 2 – Nutrition in Animals (प्राणियों में पोषण)

Chapter 4 – Heat (ऊष्मा)

The fourth chapter of Class 9 Science is “Heat”. It talks about how some objects feel hot and some cold. We often decide whether an object is hot or cold through our sense of touch. Chapter 17 – Forests: Our Lifeline (वनः हमारी जीवन रेखा)

The seventeenth chapter of Class 9 Science is in the form of a story wherein children visit a forest and learn more about it. They learn about how forests are home to several plants and animals. Several trees like amla, semal, sal, bamboo, fig and teak can be found in forests.
