The weightage of marks based on section-wise for Class 4 CBSE English is as follows-
Section A contains the reading passage which has two different passages which contain a total of 20 marks.
Section B contains the grammar and writing part. The first question is to write a letter, the second question is two write a small story and the third question is a series of grammatical questions to check students skills on pronouns, adjectives, nouns etc. This section is 30 marks.
Section C is the literature part of the exam which tests the students on their knowledge of the various chapters and poems. This section comprises a total of 30 marks.
