IIT Gandhinagar is an engineering and technology institute established in 2008 along with eight other IITs. IITGN offers 20 courses in different specialisations of engineering, science, and humanities streams. The UG level provides 6 programs with 30 intake capacity in each department, which is studied for 4 years or 8 semesters.

Application Process

While applying for admission in IIT Gandhinagar, applicants must apply through the college’s online application form with the relevant entrance examination. Erach and Meheroo Mehta merit scholarships

Awarded to the best 5 students of UG programs who’s JEE advanced ranks are more than 1000 by providing a sum of 8 lakhs every year.

KDG scholarship

Presented to the students who have performed well in educational and non-educational activities in B.Tech 3rd year. An amount of 50000 rupees is offered as a scholarship.

SC-ST scholarship

Awarded to all the B.Tech SC or ST Category students. It consists of a fixed stipend which is paid for 8 months, mess fee, and hostel fees.
