The following lines in this article will be discussing all the aspects of the PTU Exam Counselling. 

The Basics of PTU Exam Counselling

You will be called for the PTU Exam Counselling if you can score the cut off mark. The cut-off mark is the highest mark scored in the examination. The cut-off mark changes every year, as the highest mark received varies each year. 

• The counselling process for PTU Exam 2020 will be conducted in the month of July 2020. 

• Qualifying candidates have to pay a sum of 2000 INR per course as the counselling fee. 

• If you did not have the PTU Exam scorecard, you can use another relevant exam scorecard during the counselling session.

For Candidates Applying Through Merit Scores

• You have to fill your choices

• Submit the necessary documents

• Pay the required admission fee 

• Report at the allotted colleges for your admission.

Documents Required During the PTU Exam Counselling Session

Note here, that all the documents you which you have to submit should be authentic and original. You can carry photocopies of the same original documents if the need arises.

• Your birth certificate

• PTU Score Card

• If PTU Score Card is not there, you will have to bring any equivalent scorecard

• Photo ID proof

• Residence Proof

• Class 10 and 12 mark sheets

• Admit Card for PTU Exam

• Transfer Certificate

• Character Certificate

• Online receipt of the application fee payment

• Print out of the application fee, for safety

The Eligibility Needed for PTU Exam 2020

Under Graduate

• B. Tech - Completion of 12th level examination/Diploma or IB Diploma with Mathematics with a minimum score of 55% is mandatory

• B. Tech (Lateral Entry) - Completion of Electrical/Mechanical/Marine/Electronics with 45% with the approval of AICTW/SBTE is mandatory

• B. Sc. - Again, passing the 10+2 examination with a minimum of 50% is necessary from a recognized board of education

• B.A - You must pass 10+2 examination with a minimum of 50% from a recognized board of education

Post Graduate

• MCA - Passing 3 years bachelor’s degree after Intermediate with 50% marks is required

• MBA - Bachelor’s degree in any stream with a minimum of 50% and a valid CMAT scorecard is mandatory

• M. Tech -  Bachelor’s degree in B. Tech or M. Sc with minimum 50% of marks is needed
