Candidates who desire to appear for NPAT 2022 should fulfill the criteria of eligibility of NPAT examination. When candidates do not meet the eligibility criteria, then the officials reject their application forms. Below are mentioned the eligibility criteria for NPAT, and NMIMS has prescribed it. 

  • A candidate who is applying for the NPAT examination should have finished the Class 12th or equivalent exam, and it includes an International Baccalaureate Diploma in just any stream.

  • A candidate is liberal to submit an IB diploma only when a recognized board has awarded it. However, a holder of the IB certificate isn’t qualified for the test.

  • A candidate who has passed his 10+2 or an equivalent exam from ODL (Open or Distance Learning) is also eligible for the examination. In this situation, the school must have got sanction from NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling).

  • For being eligible for admission in NMIMS NPAT, students should have cleared 10+2 from either ICSE or CBSE Board in the first attempt only. This rule also applies when they have appeared for the IB diploma.

  • Students should have obtained the aggregate of 60 percent marks in the 10+2 corresponding exam.

  • A candidate who is holding IB Diploma would be eligible when he/she has got Statistics/Mathematics at his standard level.

  • A candidate who has cleared either ICSE/CBSE board examinations should mention his/her aggregate marks of every subject of either 10th standard or an equivalent exam. However, the best of 4 or 5 subjects won’t be considered.

  • A candidate who has exceeded the age of twenty-five years can’t apply for the examination.


The Eligibility Criteria for NMIMS NPAT 2022

NMIMS NPAT eligibility criteria comprise various criteria, such as age limit, nationality, and educational qualification. NPAT eligibility mandates candidates to fulfill the qualifying criteria so that they can appear for the examination. As NMIMS NPAT proposes admissions to different courses, so, the eligibility criteria do vary for each. The common NMIMS NPAT eligibility criteria for students applying for NMIMS NPAT is they should have cleared Class 12th with 50 percent marks. Now, students who haven’t yet cleared Class 12th are also eligible for applying for the examination of NMIMS NPAT. This is highly important for students to fulfill the eligibility criteria that NMIMS NPAT 2022 has laid down. The schedule for NMIMS NPAT was scheduled for June 2022 (Tentative), but it is postponed.


This exam is held for candidates who wish to take admission to different Integrated Degree and Undergraduate programs that NMIMS offers at Bengaluru, Shirpur, and Mumbai campuses. Candidates who fail to fulfill the defined criteria of eligibility can be rejected at any stage. 

 

Reservation Criteria for Students

NMIMS NPAT Eligibility Criteria for MBA (Tech) and B.Tech

Candidates should have cleared Class 12th or an equivalent exam, and they should have English as their compulsory subject. Again, students should have scored a 50 percent minimum mark in diploma engineering. Students must have passed the qualifying exam in one go.

 

NMIMS NPAT Eligibility Criteria for B. Pharm and MBA

For being eligible for MBA Pharm Tech, students should have cleared their Class 12th or an equivalent exam, and that includes Science vocational with PCM (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) or PCB (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology). They, too, should have English as their compulsory subject. Again, students should have scored a minimum score of 50 percent in PCB or PCM.
