M.S), then the fellowship for the students under this stream would be considered to be in activation mode only if a student joins an undergraduate course in Basic Sciences (B.Sc./B.S./B.Stat./B.Math./Int. M.Sc./Int. M.S.) in a particular academic year. Once the student secures a minimum of 60% (50% for SC/ST/PWD) marks in aggregate in Science and Mathematics subjects(Biology/Physics/Chemistry) in the 12 standard Board Examination, then he/she is eligible.

In the Stream-SA it is compulsory to attempt all questions (Science and Mathematics)

In terms of the streams SX and SB, there are four sections in total in Part I (Chemistry, Biology, Physics, and Mathematics) and four sections in Part II (Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, and Biology). Candidates might opt for giving answers of any THREE out of the four subjects in Part I and any TWO out of the four subjects in Part II. If a candidate chooses to attempt more sections, the best of three in Part I and the best of two in Part II is counted.

3. Can KVPY Fellowship along with a merit scholarship be availed collectively?

KVPY does not allow its Fellowship to be taken advantage of simultaneous scholarship or fellowship via more than a single source, whether it is private or government. If a student is eligible to receive any other scholarship or fellowship, they for sure need to abandon it for availing of the KVPY Fellowship.
