Summary of It’s Raining
Rain is very important for us.
Our main source of water is rain.
All water bodies like rivers, ponds, etc. get water from the rain.
Our farmers depend a lot on rainwater to harvest their crops.
When water evaporates due to heat, clouds are formed and when they condense, water falls from them on the earth which we call rain.
This cycle continues and is known as the rain cycle or water cycle.

There is a small story about Appu and bananas.
Appu is an elephant.
Appu loves bananas.
He wants to eat bananas.
He used to pluck and eat bananas from the tree every day.
One day he observed that the banana tree was drooping.
Because of the lack of water the tree became so dull since it had not rained for a long time.
Appu thought that the tree needed water.
So Appu went to the area where there was a lot of water present.
Appu went to the river.
Appu drank water, bathed his body, and after that he carried water in his trunk.
Appu poured that water on that banana tree.
After getting water the banana tree was again alive.
Appu said that he will bring water for the banana tree every day.
He was grateful to the tree for giving him so many tasty and ripe bananas.
