The JAC Delhi stands for Joint Admission Counselling Committee, Delhi. The JAC Delhi offers admission to eligible candidates to a total of four institutes under it.

The JAC Delhi participating institutes are :

Delhi Technological University (DTU)
Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women – (IGDTUW)
Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Delhi – (IIIT-D)
Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology (NSIT)

The necessary application form will be released by the Joint Admission Counselling Committee, Delhi tentatively in the final week of May. The application forms for JAC Delhi are available exclusively in online mode in - jac delhi.nic.in. Candidates are recommended to first confirm that they fulfil all the eligibility criteria and then fill the application form. It is important for applicants to remember that there is no entrance examination specifically conducted by the JAC Delhi. All the admission will be a completely merit based process based on JEE Mains scores obtained by the students.

The JAC Delhi does not conduct any exam on its own to grant admission for students seeking in its participating colleges. The deciding factor here is the JEE Main scores based on which admission is granted for interested students if they fully fill all the eligibility criteria required. Students are expected to update their scores, select the college and course of their choice, make the payment and wait for the call letter.

For students aspiring to obtain a seat in Delhi Technological university as well, the DTU application form 2020 last date is the same as the last date of JAC application form as the admission to this college is done through JAC.

JAC Delhi 2020 Application Form - Steps To Follow While Filling Up The Application Form:

Step 1: FEE PAYMENT - The first step for all applicants is to pay the necessary registration-cum-counselling. It is a total amount of Rs. 1500 along with transaction charges, that needs to be paid for JAC Delhi 2020. Along with this, the students have to enter their name and the JEE Main 2020 application number as given in the JEE Main admit card, in order to initiate the payment process.

Step 2: REGISTRATION PROCESS - After completing the payment process, applicants have to visit the official website and select “New Registration”. After that, the applicants will be asked to enter the following details. Make sure the following details are entered accurately to avoid any kind of discrepancies during the selection process.

For further security purposes, applicants are asked to set a password and also select a security question. Do not misplace or forget the JEE Main 2020 application number as it will be the User Id of the candidates. Once the registration is completed successfully, print it out for further usage. At the time of admission, this print out needs to be signed by your parents and submitted for further process.

Step 3: FILL IN CHOICES: Once the registration is completed, candidates will have to log in using the JEE Main 2020 application number and password. Then they should proceed to choose their preferred institutes and courses. It would be wise to fill maximum choices to increase the chances of your seat allotment.

Step 4: CHOICE LOCKING: after choosing, candidates will have to lock their preferred choices. Once a particular round is completed, the choices of the students will be automatically locked.

Step 5: APPLICATION SUBMISSION: Once all the necessary details are entered and preferred choices are selected, the final step would be to submit the application form and take a print out of the same.

NOTE: Remember that after each round, candidates will be allowed to register again. However, candidates registering in the later rounds cannot claim the seats allotted to candidates in the previous rounds.
