Age: The upper age limit for AEEE applicants is 21 years, that is, applicants must be born after or on July 1, 1999.
Academic Qualifications: Applicants must have passed the 12th board examination or any other equivalent examination. Also, those applicants who have appeared for their 12th board examination in 2020 are eligible for AEEE 2020.
Marks Requirement: Applicants must have pursued Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in their 10+2 level and should have scored 55% of marks in each of these subjects. Also, they need to have an aggregate score of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in their 12th board examination.
Score Requirements for JEE Mains: Those who wish to apply through the JEE Mains channel, must meet the cut-off score criteria for JEE Mains 2020.
Score Requirements of SAT: Applicants with an SAT score valid for the academic year 2020 can apply for AEEE 2020 through the SAT channel.
Candidates may hereby note that if they apply through the JEE Mains channel, then they need to have a valid score in JEE Mains 2020. These candidates must fill the application form for AEEE within the given time frame, that is, 30 June 2020. They may not need to take the AEEE 2020 examination but they will be called for the counselling rounds if shortlisted.
AEEE Eligibility Criteria for SAT
As stated above, valid SAT scores are included in the list of AEEE eligibility criteria, and candidates with an SAT score are eligible for both early and regular admission cycles at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. The SAT scores are valid for a term of 5 years, hence candidates who have taken the SAT examination in or after the year 2015 are eligible to apply for the 2020 sessions of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham.
