1.  What are the pass marks for NEET?

NEET or National Eligibility cum Entrance Test conducted by National testing agency (NTA) is a doorway to get seats in good medical colleges in India. Pass marks or qualifying marks for NEET is 50 percentile for general students and 40 percentile for SC/ST/OBC. However, these marks will only be for a call-in counselling procedure and do not guarantee a seat in any medical college until your marks fall in the cut-off marks range. Cut-off marks for the generals usually range between 720-250 and for reserved categories, it falls between 150-112 range. Securing these cut-off marks can only guarantee you a seat in good medical colleges according to your marks.

2. Which Medical Colleges are not included in the NEET exam?

NEET exam is for qualifying undergraduate medical students in different medical colleges of India. This exam can guarantee seats in all state government medical colleges, private colleges and the medical colleges undertaken by the Government. NEET not only guarantees MBBS seats but also BDS seats in dental colleges and other medical programs like Ayush in India. The total number of seats offered from the NEET exam is around 66,000. However, NEET is not for the seats in the most prestigious medical institutions like AIIMS, CMC Vellore, KMC Manipal, IMS-BHU and JIPMER. They conduct their separate exams for admitting students for their undergraduate courses.

In Chemistry Few important books are Physical chemistry by OP Tandon, MTG chemistry books, Modern’s ABC of Chemistry for both classes 11 and 12. In Biology NCERT is the best book.
