Ans. Sujata Bhatt, the poet, illustrates that she has witnessed a bird which resembles a peacock. She gets into more detail about the bird’s appearance, beauty and magnificence in the first stanza. Further, in the second portion of the poem, Bhatt says that her elders advised her to read a textbook while she waited for a peacock. Lastly, she notices ‘a blue shadow’, which is a peacock all in his glory, and the poem concludes with a happy note.
