The exam is conducted offline, and each student is given 2 hours to complete the test. The candidates who qualify the entrance test get admission in various private and government polytechnic institutions all over West Bengal. This exam was supposed to be conducted in May 2022. The candidates are instructed to go through the JEXPO eligibility criteria before filling up the application forms for the test.

  • Nationality- The first and foremost criteria for a candidate to apply for the test is that he or she should be an Indian national. To confirm the nationality, the board asks for the Aadhar card to be presented in the original form if the candidate clears the test and enters into the next round.

  • Qualifying Examination- The candidate appearing for the test must have passed his /her 10the level examination from recognized university or board or he/she should have a certificate clearing an equivalent exam.

  • Qualifying Subject- After the board makes sure that the candidate is at least 10th level pass, they also male sure that he/she should have passed the exams July 1stthematics, English, and Science as their main subjects.

  • Qualifying Marks- When they say passing the exam, they need at least 35% marks in the 10th level examination. Though this is the passing marks requirement of most of the universities and boards in India if this is not the case, the application shall not be approved.

  • Appearing The candidates who have appeared in the 10th level or equivalent examination and have not got their result for the same are also eligible to fill the application form through the final admission will only be given after the declaration of 10th level results of the particular board or university.

The above-mentioned eligibility criteria should be followed by all the candidates at the time of filling the application form for JEXPO 2022. Though there is no requirement of submitting any proof or document with the form once the candidate clears the test,  all the documents are thoroughly checked before a candidate is allotted an institute for the course. Any false information in the application or any other discrepancy found entirely matching the documents will result in the rejection of the candidate for the final admission.
