The story, ‘Alice in Wonderland’ by Lewis Carroll is about a young girl Alice and her adventures.
Alice was lying under a tree and hearing her sister reading a story when she saw a white rabbit running away.
Strangely, the rabbit was wearing a blue coat and had pink eyes. The rabbit took out a watch from his pocket and said that he would be too late.
Alice was amazed to see a rabbit that could talk, wore a coat and even carried a watch. She got very curious and she followed the rabbit.
The rabbit started running and suddenly popped down a rabbit hole. Alice ran after the rabbit and she also jumped into the hole.
Alice fell and fell and kept falling down. She thought she had reached near the centre of the earth before she landed on a pile of dry leaves.
Alice looked around and she saw the rabbit again but it disappeared again immediately. Alice stood up and saw a small door about fifteen inches high which was too small for her to go through.
A glass table laid there. Alice saw a little golden key on it. She tried to fit the key in the lock of the small door and to her delight, it fitted and Alice opened the door.
Alice looked into the door and she saw the most beautiful garden that she had ever seen. She longed to be among those bright flowers and cool mountains. She wished to be smaller so that she could get through the small door.
