Hint: The difference between a population and an individual is that a population has certain attributes whereas an individual does not. These are the birth rate, death rate, sex ratio, population density and age pyramid.

Complete answer:
we will see all of them individually.
A. Birth Rate- Also called natality rate; it is the rate at which new individuals are born in a population per unit time. It can be calculated by dividing the total number of offspring born by the total members of the population.
B. Death Rate- Also called mortality rate; it is the rate at which individuals in a population die per unit time. It can be calculated by dividing the total number of deaths by the total members of the population. Death rate can also be influenced by environmental factors like predation, competition for resources etc.
C. Population density- It refers to the size of a population in a given area in a given time. It also gives an idea about the habitat as higher population density indicates that the habitat provides suitable living conditions. It can be calculated by the given formula-
Population density (PD) = Numbers of individuals in a region (N)/ Number of unit area in the region(S)
PD=N/S
D. Exhaustible resource- exhaustible resources are those sources of energy which deplete and exhaust after usage in a few hundred years. Examples of natural exhaustible resources are- coal, petroleum and forests.
E. Rate of growth of population-It is the rate at which a population increases in a given time. Factors that influence the rate of population growth are the number of births, number of deaths and immigration.

Note:
Population explosion is the current problem faced by various nations. Main cause is the increase in the birth rate and decline in death rate as better health services are being provided. Population explosion causes lack of jobs for individuals and poverty.
