About IIT BHU Cutoff 2024

IIT BHU is one of the renowned engineering institutes of India. To get admission into this student must clear the IIT mains and advance examination. Students who have qualified for the JEE examinations then undergo the counselling process administered by JoSAA. Every participating university will release their cut-offs for counselling after the JEE advanced cut-off is released.  There are 6 rounds of counselling.

To get more details about the counselling process, cut-offs and previous year trends go through the complete article.

IIT Cut-off in JEE Advance 2024

JoSAA is the conducting authority that will take care of the exam, release the cut-offs for every institute participating in this national-level entrance exam, and take care of the counselling portion. The JEE advanced cut-off of 2024 is given below to help students understand the minimum marks required to attend the counselling for JEE 2024.

Factors Affecting Cut-offs

Here is the list of factors deciding the IIT BHU cut-off in JEE Advanced 2024.

  • The total number of applicants for JEE Advanced 2024 and the number of examinees

  • The difficulty level of the exam paper for JEE Advanced 2024

  • Number of seats allotted for counselling including all the engineering streams

  • Following the trends of previous years

  • Considering the different categories of students

These factors will help in deciding the cut-off level. Students with legit documentation and a higher rank than the cut-off level will be able to take part in the counselling and seat allotment process.

All the aforementioned lists will tell you how the ranks are distributed according to categories and gender. It will also tell you the importance of every engineering department as per the preferences of the students every year. Depending on your performance on JEE Advanced 2024, you can easily calculate the probability of securing a seat in your aspiring engineering stream in IIT BHU this year.

Important Information About IIT BHU 2024 Admission

The authority has declared that the JEE Advanced will be held on July 2024. The admission process will be based on the counselling step and seat allotment after the result of JEE Advanced 2024 is published. Once the exam is over, the IIT BHU cut-off level for every engineering stream will be disclosed so that the students can participate in the counselling process accordingly.

IIT BHU Admission Process 2024

The aspirants will have to take the JEE Main and JEE Advanced 2024 and secure a rank higher than the cut-off level decided by the JoSAA this year to participate in the counselling process. The last step of the entrance level examination is JEE Advanced 2024. Consider the list of cut-offs for three consecutive previous years to get an idea of the minimum ranks for every engineering department.

After the exam, the authority will declare the results and the candidates will be able to find out whether they are eligible for the first step of seat allotment and counselling process or not.

Eligibility Criteria for IIT BHU Admission 2024

Apart from the IIT BHU cut-off ranking, here is the list of eligibility criteria set by the authority of the university for aspiring students.

  • The students must score an aggregate of 75% or above in a cumulative way in the 10+2 level board exam. For reserved category students, the percentage level is 65% and above.

  • Candidates who have secured a position in the top 20 percentile list for the 10+2 board exam can apply directly for admission into this university.

IIT BHU Application 2024
