The following steps will be taken by the examining body to break the tie in case two or more candidates secure the same marks in AP EAMCET 2020 Exam.
1. Candidates with a greater score in Mathematics will be given priority.
2. If the tie still prevails then the candidate with greater marks in Physics will be placed high on merit.
3. If the tie still exists then the candidates having a higher percentage in the qualifying exam will be placed higher in the merit list.
4. If after exercising all the above-mentioned rules the tie still persists then the elder candidate will be given priority.
