What is the KVPY Exam?
Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) is an examination program initiated and conducted by the Department of Science and Technology (by IISc), Government of India. It funds talented and research-interested students through the National Program of Fellowship in Basic Sciences. KVPY exam is conducted every year around the 11th of May as well as the second Sunday of July. The exam is conducted by IISc (The Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore), and KVPY cut off is published on the official website ie. kvpy.iisc.ernet.in. Eligibility Criteria for Students: KVPY Cut Off 2022 Examination
The Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) Eligibility includes academic, citizenship, and age requirements for each stream. The KVPY exam has 3 different streams: SA (for class 11), SX (for class 12), and SB (for first-year BSc students). Registration, application form submission, fee payment, and application status check are the four processes in the KVPY application procedure.
If you are applying for the SA stream exam your age should be 16 years. Similarly, for the SX stream applicants must age 17 years and those applying for the SB stream should be 18 years.

Syllabus for KVPY 2022 Examination
The KVPY syllabus 2022 consists of topics from science subjects taught in grades 11 and 12, such as math, physics, chemistry, and biology. The KVPY syllabus 2022 is not officially set or released by the institute. Students can use previous year question papers or syllabus to get a better understanding of the major topics, which will be helpful for learning and preparation to score and qualify with good marks and get a scholarship.
The aim of the examination is to assess applicants' analytical abilities and comprehension rather than their knowledge of the topics covered in varied areas.
SA Syllabus: Subjects and chapters from classes 10th and 12th are included in the KVPY SA syllabus for the SA stream. Physics, chemistry, biology, and mathematics are the four core courses studied in the SA stream.
SB Syllabus: In addition to the syllabus for classes X and XI, the KVPY SB syllabus includes the first-year undergraduate syllabus for each topic. The four subjects are math, biology, chemistry and physics with undergrad topics.
SX Syllabus: SX syllabus is similar to SA but it also includes class 11 topics also. Find all the relevant topics in NCERT books and study thoroughly to score well.

KVPY 2022 Selection Process and Results
The KVPY results are issued category wise through a merit list for each stream. Then the same shortlisted candidates are called for the interview process. The aptitude test score helps to decide who will go for the interview section, according to the list. You can find KVPY results on the official website.

First to Third year: (B.Stat./B.Math.B.Sc./B.S./ or Integrated M.Sc./M.S.): INR 5000 (monthly) to 20000 (yearly).
Fourth to Fifth year (M.Sc./M.S./M.Math./M.Stat): INR 7000 (monthly) - 28000 (yearly).
