IEO Syllabus 2023-24

The curriculum of IEO is designed to test a student’s basic English skills. It aims to refine the English language skills of a student by offering a mixed set of questions. SOF segregates all its question papers based on their difficulty. The syllabus for IEO remains the same from grade to grade, but the question level differs. The question paper aims at testing the mettle of a student on:

• Word and structure knowledge

• Reading

• Spoken and written expansion

• Achievers section (a special section that has advanced level questions)

Section – 3: Ability to understand situation-based variations in functions like requests, Refusals, Apologies, etc. and the use of conjunctions.

Section – 3: Ability to understand situation-based variations in functions like agreement and disagreement, Requests, Refusals, Apologies, etc. and also distinct differences in the use of conjunctions.
