3’s table follows the concept of skipping two numbers in between. The other way of understanding 3’s table is by adding a number thrice. For example, to find the answer to 3 x 2, we can add 2 + 2 + 2 = 6, thus 3 x 2 is also equal to 6. Similarly, 3 x 4 is equal to three times 4 that is 4 + 4 + 4 = 12 and goes on. Therefore, three into any number is equal to thrice the number. This technique is applicable to all the tables.
