What Does The Multiplication Table of 15 Say?

The multiplication table of 15 basically showcases the first ten multiples of 15. You see, adding any number 15 times is a laborious and redundant task, but if we simply multiply the number by 15, we can arrive at the desired results.

Let us check the below-given examples to understand better.

  • 15 times 6 is 90. If we try to add 15 six times, we will get the same result: 15 + 15 + 15 + 15 + 15 + 15 = 90.

  • In the same way, if we multiply 7 X 15, we get 105 as the answer.

8 X 15 is 120, 4 X 15 is 60, and so on.

Tips and Tricks to Memorise the Table of 15

  • The first tip is quite basic. You need to read the table regularly. And reading alone will not work, you are required to read it aloud. How will reading loudly help? When you read the table loud you will tune into the rhythm and then memorise it without much trouble.

  • Another trick is to view the table properly. After careful examination of the table, you can see that the difference between each result is 15. 30 -15 = 15, 45 - 30 = 15, 60 - 45 = 15, and so on.

  • Recheck the table, you will see that the tens place in the resultant value is either 5 or 0. The repetition of 5 and 0 is done simultaneously.

  • In the 15’s table, there is another trick to memorise - you will see a pattern of 2 odd and 2 even numbers appearing simultaneously. Notice the ten’s place products - 1 X 15 = 15 and 2 X 15 = 30, 1 and 3 from these multiples are both odd numbers. Next, 15 X 3 = 45 and 15 X 4 = 60, 4 and 6 are both even here.
