7. Is B.Arch from IIT Kharagpur worth it?

The tag of IIT Kharagpur is quite helpful. As a B.Arch from Kharagpur, you are hired as an architect by good organisations that would not consider you a fresher from another college. If you want to work in a design MNC after B.Arch, this is one of India's top places to study. However, you will not get paid on the level of your peers.

Good MNCs may provide you with a beginning package of 12 LPA. All you have to do is maintain a high CGPA to meet the cut-off score. Furthermore, the architecture incorporates a wide range of subjects, not simply maths and physics, in practice. If you are genuinely interested in architecture, it is an excellent subject to pursue.

8. Why is it so expensive to study at an IIT?

IITs are Asia's best technology institutes. The IIT BTech is expensive because it provides excellent value for money. It would help if you thought about how much money it spends on R&D. The facilities are outfitted with cutting-edge technology, ranging from 3-D printing to electron microscopes and supercomputers. These goods cost billions of rupees. You must make use of these by enrolling in a study programme, after which you will see how inexpensive it is. It becomes a little pricey due to the cost of equipment and facilities.

9. How are the IIT Kharagpur hostels?

Various hostels have different room sizes. Vidyasagar Hall of Residence appears to be the most fantastic option for a UG student. Each resident has a single room in this Residence Hall (VS). Although other halls provide single rooms, such as Meghnad Shah Hall of Residence, Patel Hall of Residence, and others, VS Hall offers the highest quality, interior, and environment. When it comes to IITs, you should talk about the culture and atmosphere because you rarely stay in your hostel room when there are so many activities and fun to be had on campus.

10. Are there extracurricular activities at the IIT Kharagpur?

In comparison to other colleges, the extracurricular activities at IITs are highly diversified. The administration also believes that pupils should be given whatever they need. Each pitch also includes spectator stands where fans may sit and cheer.
