1. What are the Subject Choices in ISC?
Ans. For ISC Board, English is the compulsory subject, and there are 29 elective subjects out of which students need to opt for either 3, 4 and 5 of them depending on their interest in the stream and the options that college will provide.
2. How to Calculate the Percentage of ISC if There are Six Subjects in Total?
Ans. Out of six subjects, the ISC Board selects the best four subjects. There are 5 groups, where the marks of English and Literature are combined and calculated out of 100. Out of the remaining 4 subjects, 3 are selected in accordance with the highest marks obtained, basically from the best 3 out of 4.
3. Will the Result be Announced Online Only?
Ans. The Council will release the ISC results for the year 2020 in the online mode, and this result will be provisional. You will be required to collect the original mark sheet from school after a few days, officially announced by the Board. This is an important document and will be necessary for further admissions to higher educational institutes.
4. When will the Pending Papers of the ISC Exam be Conducted?
Ans. The exams which could not be conducted earlier owing to the outbreak of coronavirus were scheduled to be conducted from 01 July to 14 July 2020. However, later, the exams have now been cancelled by the Board.
