ICSE Exam for Class X
The Indian Certificate of Secondary Education is structured to provide a student with an examination in a course of general education following the recommendations of the New Educational Policy 1986. The exam is for students who are studying in class 10. There is a total of 7 subjects, out of which 4 are compulsory and 3 have a choice of subjects.
ISC Exam for Class XII
The Indian School Certificate examination is conducted in the medium of English for al those students who are going to complete their Class 12 from the board. Students must have chosen English as one of their subjects in the examination.
C.V.E (Year 12)
The Certificate of Vocational Education Examination (CVE – 12) is taken by the students after a 2 years course beyond the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE - 10) examination or its equivalent, in English.

Class 1 to 5
The focus is basically on skills refinement of the students. Schools that are under CISCE can select their own textbooks from class 1 to 5. The board has set certain guidelines that every school have to follow so the syllabus is relevant to all the students studying under ICSE board.
Class 6 to 10
There is no prescribed syllabus but only guidelines are provided for the students of class 6, 7 and 8. However, for class 9 and 10, council provides a well-structured syllabus. Class 11 to 12
