Full Form of USSR


The USSR is referred to as the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (another name as the Soviet Union).


The USSR or the Union of the Soviet Socialist Republics which is also known as the Soviet Union can be said to be the first and largest communist state that ever existed. It can be defined as an example of communism which was involved in cold wars against the West forces that were capitalists. The west was represented mainly by the United States and the countries under the treaty of NATO. It was then dissolved in 1991. North Atlantic Treaty Organisation or North Atlantic Alliance or NATO was an alliance formed between various governments which involved 27 European countries, 2 North American Countries and a Eurasian country. It was signed on the date of 4th April 1949. 


The USSR or Soviet Union is a very important part of World History. It was born out of the Russian Revolution that occurred in 1917. It led to Tsar Nicholas II being overthrown from his monarchy rule which was carried out by a left revolutionary group. Bolsheviks, the group and the empire established their rule and state. They fought and liquidated the old monarchy rule and laws. A treaty was signed between the countries Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, Georgia, Azerbaijan and Armenia in the year of 1922. This gave birth to the Soviet Socialist Republics which was chaired first by Vladimir Lenin. This organisation grew up to 15 soviet republics.   

 

What is the USSR?

It was a government sovereign state that existed in the Northern area of Europe and Asia from 1922 to 1991. It was a one-party state and was controlled by the Communist party. Moscow was its capital. It had five climatic zones: Mountains, Tundra, desert, steppes and taiga. It had around eleven time zones. The USSR came into presence after the 1917 Russian revolution was finished which had effectively removed Tsar Nicholas II. Subsequently, the USSR was additionally considered as the replacement of the Russian Empire. It appeared in Dec 1922. The nations, such as Belarus, Ukraine, Russia and other Transcaucasian Republics are involved in this association. During the war era, the USSR was the strongest from the US, it was first among countries that directed humans into space in 1961. Cause of Failure of USSR

It’s way back around 1989 January, when George H.W. Bush didn’t follow the legacy of his ancestors Ronald Reagan, in trading with Mikhail Gorbachev and the Soviet Union. In turn, he chose to opt his own rules and policies rather than going ahead with the old method. Due to his decision (Gorbachev) to lose the soviet attached to the countries of Eastern Europe emerged as a democratic momentum that led to the fall in the Berlin wall in 1989 November. After completion of all policy reviews, Bush had a meeting with Gorbachev at Malta in 1989 December. Both imposed the strategy for initiating the base work in terms of discussion on rapid changes in eastern Europe. Joint leadership of them led to the decision of the USSR turning into a democratic system completely and marketization. Gorbachev’s decision allowed elections with multiple parties and set up a presidency system, eventually, all these affected the Soviet Union and which made it unstable and ended up as collapsed.

 

Military Brief of USSR

This came into existence in October 1917, which brought Bolshevik to power. The newly formed government made an army called the RED ARMY, who fought against different enemies in the Russian civil war in the 1930s. Red Army attacked Finland; fought with Japan and its neighbour state Manchukuo; and, was conveyed when the Soviet Union, in agreement with Nazi Germany, became part in the division of Poland,  the Baltic States, Bessarabia and Northern Bukovina (from Romania). In World War II, the Red Army was the significant military power in the thrashing of Nazi Germany.
