BCECE is a combined entrance exam held in Bihar passing which, a candidate can get admission in various UG courses in Engineering, Medical or Animal Science/husbandry courses. Just like JEE Main is a combined national level exam, BCECE is combined state level exam. Just bear in mind that when we are talking about medical courses through BCECE, we are not talking about mainstream medical courses - admission to those courses are done through NEET.
For admission in UG Engineering, medical, animal husbandry and Agricultural courses, you need to sit for the BCECE exam. Here is how you can apply for the BCECE exam -
First, you have to go to the official website - https://bceceboard.bihar.gov.in/.
There, you will see two options - Portal for BCECE and Portal for AMIN. Click the BCECE portal link.
This will take you to the online application portal of BCECE. Before proceeding with the registration, read the PDF files given there thoroughly.
Now that you have read all the info, you can proceed to Bihar engineering entrance exam registration.
Look at the right-hand side and you will find the option to register for BCECE exam 2020.
You will be asked to enter your mobile number and email ID to complete the account activation process. Keep these two handy as you will be asked to enter an OTP sent to your mobile and email.
Fill the necessary personal information.
Keep the scanned copies of your photo and signature handy as you will be asked to upload them.
Then you have to provide your educational qualifications.
After that you will be taken to the payment window. Keep your debit/credit card or net banking credentials handy.
You will also have the option for offline payment.

As per the BCECE notice board, here are the eligibility criteria for BCECE admission -
You need to pass the 10+2 exam with 45% marks (40% for reserved). Physics and Maths should be your compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/Biology/Biotech as optional. As for B. Pharm aspirants are concerned, they should have Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects and Maths/Biology/Biotech as optional. If you are awaiting the result, you can apply too subject to some conditions.

As already said, if you want to pass an exam with good marks, you have to first know about the exam in details -
The exam will be conducted in two stages.
This year, the exam will happen in one stage.
100 questions each will be asked from Physics, Chemistry, Maths and Biology. These questions will carry 4 marks each.
There will be a negative marking of 1 mark for each incorrect answer.
The format of the exam is MCQ.
There will be separate exams for Agriculture related courses on 13th April.
For each of the subjects, you will be given one and a half hours to finish marking the answers.
BCECE 2020 admit card will be available from 31st March 2020. You have to first go to the BCECE portal to download your admit card. You will see a Download Admit Card Link - click on it. You will be asked to log in with your credentials. After you download your admit card, check and see whether everything is correct or not. You can rectify any mistake in the admit card till 5 prior to the BCECE exam date 2020.
No questions in the BCECE entrance exam will come outside of the class 11 and 12 syllabi of the state or national board. Follow the NCERT books thoroughly to answer each of the questions confidently. The keyword here is time. BCECE exam is lengthy. You need to manage time efficiently. For that shortcuts in Maths will be your saviour. For PCB subjects don’t waste your time by taking too long to choose the option.
