Hindi Elective Question Paper for CBSE Class 12 - 2017

The CBSE previous year 2017 hindi elective question paper carries a total of 100 marks and a total time duration of three hours is allotted for answering this question paper. There are four sections in this question paper and each section has separate marks allotment. 

Divisions

The first section in the 2017 hindi elective question paper with answers carries a total of 15 marks. 

It consists of an unseen comprehension passage followed by 8 questions. 

The second question in this section consists of an unseen poem and that has to be solved as a comprehension. The unseen poem is followed by a total of 5 questions, carrying one mark each. 

It is advisable that students should practice as many unseen comprehension passages and poems as possible, so as to get accustomed to the desired time-management for this section.

The second section of the CBSE 2017 hindi elective question paper consists of four questions and carries a total of 25 marks. 

The first question in this section is a task for composition writing and has an allotment of 10 marks. Students will be provided with four options for the composition writing question. 

The second question in this section is a task for letter writing and has an allotment of 5 marks. As per the CBSE previous year 2017 hindi elective question paper students are likely to get two choices for the task of letter writing.

The following question has 5 sub-divisions and each carries one mark.

The last question in this section is a task for article writing and carries a total of 5 marks.

The third section of 2017 hindi elective question paper with solutions consists of 6 questions. The marks allotment for each question is given below.

• The first question carries a total of 8 marks

• The second question carries a total of 6 marks

• The third question carries a total of 6 marks

• The fourth question carries a total of 6 marks

• The fifth question carries a total of 8 marks
