Hint: Aneroid barometer is also used to measure air pressure . It does not use any liquid instead it uses air as a mechanism to measure the atmospheric pressure.
Complete step by step solution: Barometer was designed to measure atmospheric pressure. The barometer has two major categories – mercury barometer and aneroid barometer . While in the former we make use of the mercury column to measure the pressure , no liquid is used in an aneroid barometer. In fact, its whole construction and working is different from the mercury barometer.

This is how an aneroid barometer looks. We will take a metal box that is partially evacuated( air is taken out of it). Now the pressure inside the metal box is low . The pressure outside the box will be more in comparison so the air from outside will towards the metal box and will exert pressure on the metal box. The force ( from air pressure) will make the box contract and lever will move . Any movement in lever will cause the pointer to move and we will get the reading . If the pressure outside is small it will make the box gain its size. Air ,here, works as a fluid during the whole process.
So we can say that the fluid used in an android barometer is air.
Hence, the correct option is C.
Note: The word aneroid means dry or we can say devoid of any moisture and hence liquid particles. It is named after this only. Unlike mercury barometers, it makes use of the air.
