JEE Main 2021 Question Paper Solutions 18 March Evening Exam Pattern

Exam Pattern for JEE Main 2021 has been updated in light of state board and CBSE syllabus reductions. Each subject will now contain 30 questions: physics, math, and chemistry. In each of these subjects, there will be two parts. In part A, there are 20 multiple-choice questions, and in section B, there are 10 numerical value response questions. Candidates must attempt five out of ten questions in section B.

  • Another important change in the JEE Main Paper Pattern for 2021 is that it will be held in 13 languages.

  • Paper 1 will include MCQs and numerical-value type questions from all three disciplines, with a total of 300 marks and a computer-based format.

  • B. Arch and B. Planning papers will both have math and aptitude portions, as well as a third section based on drawing or planning.

Criteria for Eligibility

Everything must be done correctly, from filling up the JEE Main form to preparing for it, so that there is no chance of rejection. JEE Main 2021 candidates must meet the National Testing Agency's eligibility requirements (NTA).

  • The NTA has amended the JEE Main 2021 eligibility rules, which are listed below.

  • 75 percent in 12th grade is not required for admission to NITs, IIITs, GFTIs, and SPAs.

  • There is no upper age limit for taking the JEE Main exam.

  • Candidates who graduated from high school in 2018 or before are ineligible.

  • Only candidates who have passed their class 12 exams in 2019 or 2020 or 2021 are eligible to apply for JEE Main 2021.

  • Candidates will get a maximum of three chances to pass JEE Main and two chances to pass JEE Advanced in 2021.

  • Candidates will just require a passing certificate in the 12th board exam, regardless of their grade.
