The JEE Main Exam

Structure of JEE Exam 

JEE Mains exam conducts 2 papers namely, Paper 1 and Paper 2 Where, Paper 1 is for BE/BTech courses and contains Physics, Chemistry and Math sections. It became mandatory to be a computer based exam ever since 2018. Paper 2 is forB.Arch and B.Plan courses, and the skills tested are Mathematics, aptitude, drawing and planning. It is conducted in a Pen and paper based mode of examination because of drawing. 

 

Up until 2018,candidates applying for paper 1 had options to choose between pen and paper based or computer based mode of examination. But then it changed to just online pen and paper mode. 

 

As per new rule, JEE Main 2022 will be conducted four times a year, candidates should make the best use of their time and opportunity, they better take their JEE Main preparation to the next level. JEE Mains is also a preliminary examination for JEE advanced where candidates who qualify JEE Mains can attempt JEE advanced for IITs. It is held annually once a year.
